A good day for our man Rodriguez. He came away from the stage with an increase in his lead, & is now up 33 seconds over Froome.

As expected Sky attacked on the final slop of the day. It came down to a tactical battle of the four GC contenders. Contador was pipped on the line by Valverde & Rodriguez, with Froome suffering & 15 seconds back.

Good stuff Tonji, you said this morning that today would, or might, suit Contador & Froome, so that sounds like we had an excellent day.

Well I have made a bit of a mess of things today, (details in the morning report tomorrow) but as it turns out, we are about £6 up on the day, (after all of today's bets paid for) with Tighty's Cricket bet as a complete Freeeroll.

We have £20 @ 7/2 on Yorkshire to win the cricket.

So we stand to make £6, or £96.

The betting suggests a very tight heat - it is a 5 dog heat & it goes 5/4, 5/1, 5/1, 5/1, 10/1.

Yup, 2-1 - congrats, & apologies that I never got Fred on. I would not have bet much, somewhere between £20 & £40, but it would have been handy.

I'm just an hour off the plane so haven't had a chance for a proper look but I don't think it'll be an issue. SS is a middle seed but runs well from wide anyway since he often breaks last.
