A belated Good Morning Afternoon.

I've been somewhat waylaid, so not much point doing a Daily Update at this time of day, so I'll leave it until tomorrow morning.

For now, an abbreviated summary of our performance yesterday.

Rugby League Catalan Dragons v Leeds Rhinos.

Since it was decided, this fixture has been causing me much angst. Both teams have their failings, Leeds are a team of old men who struggle against good teams and Catalans  are playing badly and have an awful record away from home ( I am aware this match is in France). The winners will probably face a trip Wigan, where Catalans got completely stuffed last week. If a giant was threatening to stomp on my nether regions if I didn't make a choice I would plump for Leeds who will at least not be fearful of a trip to Wigan whilst the cheese eating surrender monkeys will. However all the signs point to a close game. When they played each other a month ago there were only 4 points between them.

Instead of going for my usual draw bet I am going to advise backing a drop goal to be scored. Both teams have scored them regularly this season and the Leeds player Sinfield is canny enough to do it even when they are 3 scores ahead. It is not going to occur until the last 20 mins of the game but if the match is at all close then it is a very likely occurrence.

Recommend a drop goal is scored £20 @ 7-2 with Paddy Power but 3-1 is acceptable if the price is gone.

Do we have anything lined up for tonight which I need to action?

I did see a debate about the Blackburn game, which was largely negative. I WANT them to win it, but that is irrelevant.

I did see the stat "max points @ Home versus nil points Away record". The worry I have with those is that BOTH those 100% records will get bust at some stage.

"No bet" on it at present, then.

Six goals scored total in the last six matches between Manchester City and Arsenal

All three matches in 2011-12 finished 1-0

So far this season Arsenal in 4 games concede 0,0,0,1

So far this season Man C in 4 games concede 2,2,1,1

Yet under 2.5 is a 11/10 dog to over 2.5 4/6 favourite

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/man-city-v-arsenal/over-under-2.5

Would suggest that his is the wrong way round for Sunday

The goalscoring firepower is perfectly priced in/extremely well known by everyone, tight defences aren't priced in

We get 1-0 either way,2-0 either way, 1-1,0-0 at odds against (obviously)

Wouldn't expect this to be popular on the thread, but its a contrarian view with stats to back it up

Tikay, did you Bet Micheal Van Gerwen @80s for the Darts World Champs??
It was suggested on here a month or so ago by someone, the Darts Season on Tv started last Night and Van Gerwen is currently tearing it up on ESPN as I type, this price will be about half that come December at this rate.
100/1 on Oddschecher with Youwin but I don't know if you have an account?

Reckon we should all lump on Boro if they're getting away with fielding 12 players!

GL getting more than £2 on with youwin and even better luck withdrawing should you cop.
