If we take the current Betfair market as being correct the 'true' price is closer to 13/2.... (Using midpoint prices of 2.13, 2.15 and 1.665) cool, i hadn't looked anywhere else. Thanks for the info.

@MtSpewmore I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Anyone fancy the Toon tonight?
Everton look woefully short to me.
Not sure if you remember but Fred had a decent lay of Everton in the reverse fixture at, iirc, 4/7. We won it (the bet rather than game) with a very late goal and Newcastle looked all at sea that day but they also had a lot of injuries. Effectively today Everton are shorter than they were that day although we have lot more games to go on now and it is possible we made an error on our assessment of the teams that day given both teams subsequent results but irrespective they do seem very short indeed today. It is the equivalent of 1/2 at Goodison. It would be nowhere near as strong for me as in the reverse fixture but I think they should probably be in the region of 5/4 today so a lay of Everton at 2.14ish seems fair for a small bet to me.

BANZAI ANNOUNCEDhttp://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/winnerGolden State Warriors 139/1 to win the NBA title. They are currently 20-10 on the season and are lying 5th in the Western Conference only 4 wins behind the #1 team in NBA. They are showing that they are a very well balanced team and can beat anyone on any given night. They are also good on the road (which will be huge in the playoffs as its a best of 7 and the higher seed gets home court advantage with 4 out of 7 at home) They are 9-4 at home and 11-6 on the road which of course means they have more home games to come. The only thing that is letting them down at the minute is they are allowing too many points with only the 20th best defence in the league (out of 30) BUT they have their best defender (Andrew Bogut) sidelined since the 3rd week of the season or something. So when he returns they will be a much stronger defensive unit. It is a massive banzai, but anything can happen in the playoffs (which im almost 100% they will make) and they play very well and could cause some shocks. They have already beaten the leaders in both the eastern and western conferences on the road this year. Suggest £2.50 @ 139/1 with betfair Anyone who watches NBA think Clippers are still value @ 10/1 or have I waited too long and price is too short now? Been some fred interest in golden state warriors?, down to 95 on betfair now

Ok, small interest I think.
Suggest laying Everton @ 2.14 for £40.

Thoughts on the standard liverpool lay too? Oddschecker shows they've contracted a little bit.

Pretty big game tonight for that bet actually. They host LA Clippers who are #1 team in the NBA at the minute.

I have bet this again. They do seem to be playing a bit better recently though and Sunderland are pretty bad. I dont love it but I do make it value so......

Did you get better with betfair than backing 3.25 for the Sunderland and the draw? I get confused with the equivalent bets of if you backed a lay (backing the double chance) and if you are actually laying. What would 3.25 be if I was laying it on Liverpool? If you don't understand what I mean, I will try to rephrase it again, and is there a tip on working it out? I have that 3.25 is like laying Liverpool at 4/9?
