If Villa were expected to gain 1.27pts isn't that then an extra 1.73pts that QPR have to get now that Villa have won? That's a pretty big change!
If finishing above Villa guarantees survival, then yes, you're right.
But last time I checked it doesn't.
Villa winning made survival from them more likely, and only a fraction less likely for the other candidates.
Certainly not enough to shorten QPR from 3/10 to 1/4. The result does seem to make a fairly large difference though, I made it a 2.5% inc of QPR relegation following the Villa win (may or may not be correct!)
1/4 might be the right price, but if it is, it's because 3/10 was value.
True. You're right that the Villa result doesn't mean QPR have to now pick up 1.73 extra pts.

Michelle Pfeiffer is Catwoman. That's just how it is. Batman Returns is also the nut Batman film. Absolutely love it.
Imo ofc, but this post is completely and utterly wrong. Infact couldn't be more wrong if it had wrong tattooed on its forehead, and lived at wrong house, wrong road, wrong town, W4O N8G.
Michelle and Tim were good. Anne and Chris are better.

I had the same opinion as everyone else once.
Meh.
I have the misfortune of enjoying Tim Burton films. Mercifully, only some.

Riva wins Best Supporting Actress, beating Chastain and Lawrence.
Did not see that coming.

I shalln't incur the yellow card, but I'm rather disappointed that Frank Ocean didn't win. Really did think I'd found something, there.

Better to BAN all that arty bollox.
To be fair, if we had known that Ocean wore beads, we'd never have backed him.

On a brighter note after the superb Snedeker won at Pebble B, he is now a general 16s for the Masters!

Great news!
Methuselah was right, of course (buy straw hats in the winter....) but redarmi had hesitated for a while, & the price tumbled, he recommended at 33/1, but that had gone, too, & I was keen to secure the beginning of our Masters portfolio. As it has panned out, & as reds noted I think, it is unlikely he will go much above 25/1, so hopefully, although we missed a bit of value, we will be the right side of his price.

Daily Report as @ 0820, Monday February 11th
A profit yesterday of £81.50 takes us up to £538 this month.
The fickle mistrsess that is variance loves us right now, & that is 4 winning days on the bounce, possibly the first time we have ever done that. 4 days ago our February profit stood at £225, so we have enjoyed a nice run. We have, for the moment, too, got our ROI north of 2.5%. We need to try & improve that, though, 4% would be more like it, I think.
£41 of of losses yesterday, just bits & bobs, were nicely balanced by two nice wins.
We had a small win (£12.50) on Tighty's "SIN-BIN" bet, that was a tremendous bit of value, & well spotted.
Camel, meanwhile, Mr Not Very Often, weighed in with a lovely 5/1 winner, which netted us £100. Bravo Camel!
We now have "Horse Racing" as a net winner over 93 bets, only 1.77%, but good to see.
