Yes.  The whole idea is that Arsenal were bound to start too short.  Now they look too short so we should lay.

We have closed our position. Reversing it would be laying Arsenal so they became a loss for us, ie laying £250@2.1

Basically you had 3 main options. Let the 6/4 ride which is fine, lay Arsenal and reverse the position which I can also see is fine or close out the position for profit either way. All 3 options are fine IMO and you have the lowest variance one.

6/4 probably too big, 11/10 probably too low. You've backed when was value and laid when it wasn't.

If you thought arsenal should be 23/20 when taking the 6/4 you might have £150@6/4 and only lay £90@2.1 as clearly in your opinion the 6/4 back was better value the the 11/10 lay when you make them 23/20

Bear in mind it's more likely the 6/4 was a wrong price than the current one so once you've done the hard work and taken the early price and read the market right, then it's pretty hard to do much wrong after anyway
