Good point, Marky. This had nothing to do with BadBeat.
Tikay's infallible misclicks take another handful of fivers.

Oooh!
We need that Baldrick clip, where he recites the poem, in the trenches.
BOOM BOOM BOOM, BOOM BOOM BOOM
BOOM BOOM BOOM, BOOM BOOM.
BOOM.
PS - thanks Neil. I promise never to call you Lord Grumpy again.

Why not just trust the umpire for everything except run outs and stumpings?
Wastes time.
the technology is good, and its meant to be there to remove the howler/human error decision
the problem is the use of the technology now has human error attached too
a sensible solution might be to remove teams reviews and for the 3rd umpire to call down each time there is a shocker, of which there won't be many
Anything to stop these tiresome debates between players to decide whether to use their review or not.
The system was designed to correct clear errors, not to be used tactically.

What defines a shocker though? You will end up blurring the lines even more imo.
yes thats fair
the umpires aren't good enough, on and off field. 3 or 4 shockers today, the latest the Smith non LBW which was plumb
doesn't help that the best umpires are Australian and English!!
Go back to home umpires then!
Worked for over 100 years, why not now?

I have no problem with this
If the best umpires are from a particular country, then let them umpire
no need for neutral umpires when technoliogy will show if they are systamatically displaying bias or not
the ICC does not agree (in part because of courruption fears in the sub continent)

Gina
There is no downside
Chompy had us put £150 at 8/1 (£125,£25 bets)
He then recommended a £450 lay (£150*3 at 4.0)
The position was therefore locked in at £750 if she wins, 0 if she loses
Run it, I would say.
I didn't recommend a lay. I haven't done any laying back at all, coz I'm hard. I mentioned it would be acceptable if TV's Tony Kendall wanted to take the freebie. Merenovice then snapped it off in record time.
Yup, best bet of the year from Chompster and the lay at
was a bad bet, the price was tumbling just as he predicted....obv I never backed it coz Tikay told me Chompy's clueless

It might work now with home umpires it sure as hell didn't in the past. Just listen to anybody who toured Australia back in the day, go through scorecards see if the touring side ever got an lbw decision the whole series.

It can't be that long ago when home umpires stood.
10 years?

The original fav has been withdrawn in the Hunt Ball race.
Obviously makes life easier but with the hefty rule 4.
I have found some quotes from the new trainer which suggest whilst fit this is a prep for something in a few weeks time.

OK horsey, no worries, it is what it is, can't be helped. Gambling is rarely risk free......
