Agree with Burton Point Adz. 50/1 is massive.

If he runs in the trail is he worth backing at 33-1?

Just listened to. Jonjo podcast.

Most telling comments, running dreadful, blah, blah,  "but hope it all comes together on the day."

Betfair has it at 43/1 still for those that missed the 50/1.

Pandorama quite low for a Lexus winner?  Currently running in points and Hunter chases tho.  139/1 on the machine and may not get in.  Not for thread.

Edit.  Thought the 50/1 had gone.  Ignore Betfair if you can get on at Ladbrokes.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

I am going to  bang that Jimmy Walker drum one last time

He started 28 on betfair for this tournament last season as a non winner

As a now three time and the most in form player on tour he is only a few points lower

That makes no sense to me

Lads reverted to 25-1 the field again at 9am this morning, managed to avail another tenner on old friend tidal at 25's

They are still holding 50's Burton Port even after cutting the front few

Daily Report

Loss on Month £54.04

Outstanding Bets £3313.67

Free bets to Use One William Hill by Saturday

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=19

A profit of £42 yesterday thanks to Real beating Atletico 2-0 for a profit of £52 offset by Danny Dyer not winning the half-pipe, guv at Sochi. Sorry, Danny Davis.

In yesterday's action Watford earned an important 1-0 victory over Birmingham and are now 13th, one point off Middlesborough in 12th and a top half position

Sam Vokes scored for Burnley in their win at Bolton his 15th league goal of the season and currently tied for 4th in an each way position for our bet, the poor cousin to the Ings bet but still in there with a shot

Hull lost to Southampton, not good news for the handicap or top promoted team bet

Cardiff drew to Villa, but that bet is a long way of a return, as is Southampton to be relegated

Ulloa scored for Brighton as they beat Leeds 1-0. He now has 7 league goals, two clear of the field in the top Brighton scorer bet

Elsewhere in Sochi the Team GB Womens Curlers set an Olympic record on the way to beating the US 12-1, with a seven stone end

Bugger - I forgot the Test Match was this morning, as we planned to await the result of the toss.

Anyway, South Africa won the toss, but elected to field. (Why?)

Australia are 56/2 after 17 overs.

No bet. I haven't had time to watch it so can't give an informed opinion on the toss decision

Looks more than fair so far, could/should be 4 down

Still think its a surprise, Australia score 300 and they must have a reasonable shot

nearly 5/2 currently

disclaimer, haven't watched! ;-)

Morning Mr T.

Not at all happy as it is raining again and I have to go out yomping in it.

After our Chilean coup it is time to turn our attention to Rotterdam. This afternoon Del Potro plays Gael Monfils. Before the start of this season the rumours were that Monfils was training harder than anyone in an attempt to break into the top echelon. He has the talent but he did not always apply himself. He has won 5 ATP tournaments, 4 indoors, including last weeks. So he is in good form. His opponent in last weeks final, Gasquet, said he couldn't read his service at all.

Del Potro hasn't played since the Aussie open where he was dismal. His 2nd round loss was to a clay court specialist, and this was on an extremely fast court. He had a wrist injury there which is still rumoured to be troubling him.  I think we should back Monfils, but don't go throwing away all your Foggy Dewhurst cash.

Suggest Monfils £20 @ 9/5 with Betvictor.

New Zealand v India second test starts overnight

Top India Batsman, Rohit Sharma 6/1 Coral £20

The Basin Reserve in Wellington will host the final Test and it’s definitely another pitch for seamers. New Zealand haven’t lost there since 2010. The weather forecast is good, and I doubt the match will be a draw.

Top India Batsman, Rohit Sharma 6/1 Coral

Sharma top scored in the first innings at Auckland with 72 showing admirable technique yet is 5th favourite in the market for Wellington. If New Zealand take early wickets again then he will have another chance to build an innings and 6/1 is a great price

I like Dhawan, Pujara and Kohli a lot, all class batsmen but the New Zealand seamers at Welllington are a real handful, and these three have to negotiate the new ball whereas Sharma doesn't

Sharma broke into Tests late (Dravid, Tendulkar) and so far

Tests    5

Inns         8

Runs    424

Top          177

Av            60.57

100s    2

50s           1

Pretty sure 6/1 is a behind the curve price given his ability

If people want another one,

Top New Zealand 1st Innings Batsman, Kane Williamson 7/2 Ladbrokes

Kane Williamson is in great form with Five ODI half centuries in a row then a century in the first innings of the first Test. With Ross Taylor potentially absent (birth of baby impending) and he is favourite.....7/2 is an attractive price.

Morning Hector, & well done on Foggy.

I'm all behind here, not done yesterday's stuff yet, Chompy will be fumming.

We are on Mr Monfils, though the 9/5 had gone, but we got £20 @ 7/4 with Mr Ladbroke.

For discussion

Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham go to the North East and are as short as 5/4 favourites for the match, reflecting Newcastle''s recent poor results with Remy suspended and Cabaye sold.

I can't help feeling that the 23/10 at home Newcastle is a price that has to be backed

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-tottenham/winner

Trends are not supportive: Tottenham have won seven and lost just one of their last 10 Barclays Premier League away games and Newcastle have now failed to score in six of their last seven Premier League matches.

Surely they will get up for this match and give us a run at greater than 2-1?

Tottenham also do concede goals away from home, as they did at Hull and Swansea recently

It is very contrarian, nearly 75% of the money appears to be for Spurs  from oddschecker graphs but surely Newcastle are way under 2-1 at home against Spurs at many other times?
