There's some long Fifa Man of The Match Award prices on players not expected to start in the England vs Italy game. Marco Veratti is expected to start and possibly in a more advanced CM role than the defensive role he occupies for PSG.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/england-v-italy/fifa-man-of-the-match

There's some 40-1 if we can get a few quid on with Uneed to bet, we can pass on the general prices of 20's.

Can't argue with that, one of the formations Prandelli tried out was De Rossi in front of back 4 with Marchisio, Pirlo and Verrati ahead of him.

Rated very highly by Prandelli. Psg turned a big offer from Real from him

Japan vs Ivory Coast. Betfair sportsbook standout evens both teams to score worth £50. Plenty of money matched at ~1.91.

over 2.5 is better than evens, fwiw, if you want an alternative

Ivory Coast v Japan

    EVS
    £50.00

Cuadrado fgs @ 14's
Anytime 11/2

Both with coral.

Will play wide right but had tendency to find him self in central areas with Fiorentina. Played a few games in the false 9 for them too.

On phone if you can get a better price do it.

the coral website is almost impossible to use

unfortunately they are best price here

three attempts to get the bets to load in the bet slip

go away and do something else

load it up again

no good

try another tab, aha!

FGS and anytime....

Juan Cuadrado14/1Colombia v Greece - 14/06/2014
Stake £10.00
Estimated Return:£150.00
Single

Juan Cuadrado11/2Colombia v Greece - 14/06/2014
Stake £10.00
Estimated Return:£65.00
Total Stake: £20.00
Potential Return: £215.00

Sadly Percival is not in the starting 13 for St Helens so will leave the bet alone.

I'm not sure on the overs front really, I got on @ 6/4 midweek and just noticed the BTTS price when i was moseying around. Peejay was referring to the England price on the coral coupon arbboy asked about.

If you have a Betfair Sportsbook account they are currently way out in front with the price of Yaya T scoring anytime at 5.5.

Everything I am reading is that he is fit to start but you could wait until after the England match to place this bet

As an additional sweetner, Betfair Sportsbook are offering free bets on losing bets o £25 if certain 'triggers' are met. I think this will be a high-scoring affair with IC strong in attack and weak in defence so suggest the refund trigger to be Drogba scoring first (If Drog doesn't start then it will revert to both teams scoring and Japan winning).

What do people think of a small wager on this? If you do it you must click through, choosing your trigger free bet option.

Do you Know if Yaya Plays  advanced for IC or will he hold more to counter Honda/Okazaki etc?

No, I don't know but they'd be mad not to have him roaming around the box with his EPL goals this season...

i believe he plays deeper, alongside Tiote, in a 4-3-3 behind Drogba with Kalou/Gervinho  playing either side up top and filling in on the flanks when defending

at least he did in the warm ups/qualifiers i researched in the last few weeks

at city obviously fernandinho mops up behind him and he has licence to get up to the front two and beyond

9/2 anytime is fine in that style, in a more defensive midfield set up then something like 11/2 6/1 is about right, i think

he has 16 in 82 for the ivory coast, about 1 in 5....far less than club career where he's 1 in 3.5 for City

1,800 press passes issued at Pinehurst for this weekend. Total German press passes issued: one. Even Kaymer says, if he won, he'd get coverage right up to 8pm Monday.

Really Fancy Uruguay Strong tonight as Costa Rica are woeful

Suarez not starting but could feature at some stage hence the stand out price 1-2 Corals  ( 1.48 betfair )

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/uruguay-v-costa-rica/winner

Recomend  £100 @1-2 and quick as pretty sure price will go

ugh, hate having to ask the questions

what do we know that means that 1-2 is mispriced? surely its an efficient price?

are we suggesting this should be 1.25 or 1/4?

what do we know about costa rica?

(sorry) (no objections to a short one in principal, but it doesn't strike me as a really really sure thing to be able to take 1.5)

there you can lump on now

I think its worthy of a small interest (£20 or £30 at fred's relative bet sizing) at 1/2 comm free simply because over £1m has already been done on bf has been done at 1.48 or shorter.  The edge it would appear that we have is small though and the £100 recommendation i assume is based on the actual price of the selection (the old school shorter the price the more we bet) rather than the actual relative edge we have in the bet which is small and hence stakes imo should be kept relatively in line with the edge we have.

1.49-1.5 on betfair

1/2 on  Betvictor, and the price has been there for over 48 hours

i have done the betsizing in line with the suggestion above, with what looks like such a tiny edge

Uruguay v Costa Rica Uruguay (Match Betting - 90 Mins) Odds: 1/2 Stake: 20.00 Possible Return:  30.00

a reminder also

a while ago dubai put us a chunky bet up £50 e/w Jackson Martinez for the golden boot at 100-1

Falcao then pulled out of the world cup

dubai hasn't been around to ever explain the reasoning beyond what we know and imagine my horror (for a few seconds) when he was described this morning in a place nearby as "seriously over-rated"!! :-)

anyway, he starts on the bench as does Bacca, with Gutierrez on his own up front

all eyes on Jackson if he comes on...

Downside- he cooled off slightly, manager not biggest fan, Falcao prob in squad, tough draw post group
[25/04/2014 02:27:14] PinkTrousers: plus side- He is a proper goalscorer, Falcao wont be 100% for opening games which are easiest ones, hard to drop a player that scores.
[25/04/2014 02:27:43] PinkTrousers: 1/4 top 4 normally means 4 goals= win
[25/04/2014 02:28:02] PinkTrousers: Colombia odds on in easy group
[25/04/2014 02:28:39] PinkTrousers: Honestly think its a massive runner, if the manager starts liking him more he should be 25s or so
[25/04/2014 02:28:50] PinkTrousers: assuming Falcao aint 100
[25/04/2014 02:28:53] PinkTrousers: %
[25/04/2014 02:38:10] PinkTrousers: Would only lose in 1994 with 4 goals
[25/04/2014 02:38:29] PinkTrousers: Go through all top sides, he biggest price of any "main strikers"
[25/04/2014 02:38:40] PinkTrousers: other person i considered was Balotelli
[25/04/2014 02:38:47] PinkTrousers: who i think is shit
[25/04/2014 02:39:31] PinkTrousers: but probably overpriced, given long odds on to start, takes penalties and Italy decent odds on to progress through group

I don't think he'll mind after I edited his skype.
