Connor Drinan and Eric Lindgren were the two satellite winners at the Rio. The Bellagio had a $100k with re-entry that got a shitload of runners and Dan Smith officially won that although really Jason Mercier, Jason Somerville and Tom Marchese chopped it with him for $1.6m each. Mercier was already in but not sure about JS or TM. Would happily take 50/1 any of these people and 40/1 some of them if I knew they were playing.

Betfair have a market with some liquidity but they need a nudge to add a few of these.

Quite a picture:

(For those unfamiliar with the denominations at Bellagio, the majority of those chips - the white, red and blue ones, referred to as "flags" - are $5,000 apiece)

I don't know, tbh. That picture is Mr Mercier's settlement from the 100k event.

Paul Newey has bought in, btw.

Paul won $200,000 on Keno while having breakfast yesterday. Have played with him quite a lot, would not take 200/1 (sorry Paul).

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/tour-de-france/tour-de-france-stage-1/winner

Greipel has just won the German Road Race Championships. He'll go into stage 1 full of confidence & race sharp. Cavendish & Kittel have both not raced for a few weeks.

Case for ew 7/1 bet looking more attractive imo. Baldy paying 4 spots.

why are costa rica favourites over greece?

beat uruguay minus suarez

beat italy after italy's win in manaus (see record of manaus teams after they played there)

drew with a half-cock england who couldn't finish a crossword in that game

no experience in wc knockouts. greece much more experienced team, will sit deep to counter campbell, soak it up and try to nick one

cr won what you could argue was a poor group, and have been auto-installed as favourites?

anyone like greece 2/1+, or greece to qualify allowing for the reasonable possible of extra-time?

ok another one

Colombia have to be real value at 3.9 or 2/1 to qualify to beat the worst Brazil side in ages?

colombia can play 1 up, 2 up, rodriguez anywhere across the top 3, 2 centre backs, 3 centre backs, maruading full backs..lots of tactical flexibility

brazil have one defender i rate (silva), the full backs are caught up field a lot, will miss luis gustavo who sits v deep, neymar is nicked up, have no number nine that will worry any opponent..

15/4 fixed odds available....

Think Costa Rica will be comfy greece's best chance is holding out for pens which will be 50/50 don't like 2-1 think it should be closer to 3-1 imho
