just wondering on the optimal time to plunge on the argies ew at 4/1.  It's a bit of a risk/reward game going as late as possible wihtout losing the 4/1 1/2 1,2 place terms

You can't leave it much later, most are now 1/3 first 2 places

I've just added Dan Smith@50/1 with sadblokes, to my big one for one drop potfolio.

He just chopped the 100k re-entry at the Bellagio for $2 million.

Sounds like he's going to be playing.

Def very dece value in a 56 runner field, pretty sure the market has not correctly adjusted to his tweet.

In the world cup

-£25 Cavani top Uruguayan goalscorer. He scored 1 in 4 games, Suarez 2 in 2 and chasing one last night for the dead heat we had to watch him parked on the left wing for much of second half. Great.

-£20 Vargas top Chile goalscorer, Alexis Sanchez's goal yesterday denied us a dead heat on that one

-£10 Vargas golden boot

-£20 Alexis Sanchez top whoscored.com tournament rating, lost with Chile's exit

- Neither Neymar or Jackson Martinez advanced their goal total for the golden boot, but at least both made it through. James now as short as 2/1 for the golden boot with 5 in 4 games

'Thanks for having been born in Colombia,' said the Colombian commentator as James left the pitch.

- In cricket Yorkshire failed to chase 143 on a murky T20 blast day at Trent Bridge, which is frustrating

- In baseball the Royals, Orioles and Yankees all lost yesterday. In the AL central the Royals are now 4 games behind the tigers having led the division a week ago. In the  AL East the Orioles are a game behind the Blue Jays for the division lead. The Yankees record is 41-38 very close to half way through the season. We need less than 87 wins or <53.7%, currently running at 51.9%

Dan Smith, Paul Phua and Bill Perkins are the only ones that I would guess have more than a 10% chance of playing there and the latter two are at least 50/1 even if they play (both prob will).

 Dan Smith great value.

Ignore. Can't see him on the official list on the one drop site anymore. Strange as he was definitely confirmed a while ago

Connor Drinan and Eric Lindgren were the two satellite winners at the Rio. The Bellagio had a $100k with re-entry that got a shitload of runners and Dan Smith officially won that although really Jason Mercier, Jason Somerville and Tom Marchese chopped it with him for $1.6m each. Mercier was already in but not sure about JS or TM. Would happily take 50/1 any of these people and 40/1 some of them if I knew they were playing.

Betfair have a market with some liquidity but they need a nudge to add a few of these.
