I've just backed True Story e/w in the Eclipse @ 18-1 with BV. Think third by 1½ lengths to The Grey Gatsby in The Dante is far from the worst form on offer. Seemingly won't mind the rain in the ground which is considered a negative for The Fugue. Rec £10 e/w
Thanks Simon.
We missed the 18/1 due to ditherage by Tighty....but we have invested £10 EW @ 16/1 with BMU, for a proper little Banzai.
In hindsight, I think we have a £10 Free Bet with Hills, who go 14/1, so maybe I should have had just a £10 win with them.
Anyway,
BET PLACED
Good luck!

Morning Tikay
Have £20 at 4's. Don't take any lower, it's a 2 game series so will give us an interest with a very live chance of bonking.
In fact, I was incorrect, the 4/1 was for the first match, 9/2 for the "Series" (2 games) remains available, so we have reverted to £40 @ 9/2, thank you. (Wm Hill).
Any suggestion that we have a bet on Neesham @ 4/1 off-thread for the first game due to misclickage will be strenously denied, & blamed on Tighty.
BET PLACED
I put the link up on the first post knowing your willingness to misclick.

For Peter's stakes, surely not even Boyles will restrict him? Fiver at 15/8?
Think you'd have a right to complain if they boshed you for that!
25/1 is the Boyle Sports bet
1) Race Winner: Nico Rosberg @ 15/8 with William Hill (although I'm now told this is higher with Betfair): Suggest £5
2) W/O Mercedes: Valtteri Bottas @
25/1 with Boyle Sports
: Suggest £5
3) Group A (RIC/ALO/BOT/MAS): Daniel Ricciardo @ 13/8 with Bet Victor: Suggest £10
Thanks Pete.
I shall do the Nico bet, but get a better price with Betfair, I hope.
We can't do the Bottas thing, we are unable to, & I would not Recommend anyone does, it is a clear palp.
We'll do the "Group Bet" too.
Thanks. Will confirm shortly.
EDIT - I think Boyles have removed the Market now.

Very happy to wait to get the True Story suggestion seconded by an elder before parting with Tikay's hard-earned. For anyone who does like it Stan James are now 18-1 qtr odds
Thanks.
Tighty has now commented further, & taken the reins. (see "hospital pass").
As to the going, & weather, I live around 4 miles from Sandown Park, & we have had a great deal of overnight rain. Currently, it is heavily overcast, but quite windy.
The BMU price of 18/1 is one fifth odds, others have qtr odds @ lesser prices. We don't use Satan.
Betfair go 17.2 for the Win, & 4.2 the place.
Must be said, @ 18/1, it can't be terrible & we don't expect 18/1 shots to be nailed on, so I have no probs with giving it a spin.
Any of our Racing chaps around, who have a view?
I am fairly neutral and have a big Kingston Hill position but if it is an arb and someone fancies it I wouldn't stop you. I really don't know the ground though. I assume it is good/good to soft now. No idea why it is getting backed if it is softer.
Am a bit late I guess.
Thanks, I was hoping for a 2nd opinion. I'll get on shortly.
Just looked at the turftrax website and they still have good to firm. I guess the rain must have mostly missed Sandown. Think thread probably got lucky with the Kingston Hill restriction despite the shortening price. The Fugue is probably a goer on the will hill free bet on that ground.

Don't know what was going on with the 3/1 The Fugue, guess it was b365 matching a betfred offer and I got very lucky with the timing.
Anyway guess it is gone, but on this ground we should definite take the 9/4 with Hills on The Fugue. It is very close to betfair and has the offer on top (3.50 Sandown). For those fans of the offer betting I wouldn't put them off Queen Catrine in the race before or Seal of Approval in the 2.55 at Haydock.

Tikay explained the palp thing very well imo.
It's 99% that the 25/1 shot is a palp and you'll end up getting freerolled/go down the route of restriction/closure etc.
If betfair has money wanting to back something for a certain price, yet one firm is 5x that price and everyone's else's, chances are it's a palp.
Yes boyles might have a very strong opinion on the bet, but even then they wouldn't need to offer such an ool price, makes no business sense.
Gl with your bets today Peter, I def respect your enthusiasm for F1 and in finding value spots from its often more obscure betting markets.
Thanks very much :-)

The market will be down for the next 10 minutes or so because the third practice session only just finished. Although when it comes back the price will probably different. As it turns out, I can't place the bet myself because I'm having trouble with them when it comes to verifying my account :/

Think it must have finished at 11. I tried to top up with totesport after I posted and it had gone already.

That explains why the BMU Market (for the Group Bet) has been removed.
I'll have another look later.
