Mr T.

Go on there and tell them you have won so much from betting with them that they closed your account. Doubt many Stan James odds setters know that Nike was the Greek goddess of victory.

I already did.

Perhaps this picture, of yesterday's winner, might be an opportunity to remind you of the funniest thing I wrote last week when the rider from this team went head over heels on the cobbles and I said it was a Lotto Rollover. Tumbleweed. Not even Tal gave me a grudging acknowledgement.

Perhaps they all got swooshed?

Know the feeling, Rich, know the feeling.

Interesting pitch at Lords. Of course the weather looks scorchio, but nonetheless the draw at 5/4 looks a bit odd. Has to be a result.....India are 7/2 and Kumar looks made for this wicket, old fashioned type swinger. very toss dependent though, so wait and see

Rich, I may be offline betwwn the toss, & the start.

If the toss is favourable, get us on, please. We might need some insurance money come Sunday night from our Hoylake adventure.

Also, most people pronounce Nike so that it rhymes with Mike, when the Greek would have an "eh" sound at the end. Adidas is named after Adolf Daßler (Adi Dassler), where some people think it's an acronym. Daßler's brother Rudolph founded Puma.

Post that or a link to a yawning cat.

Judging by the silence, it seemed your esteemed panel were as well Tony.......too subtle. Too good.

I'm blown away by the reaction.

Stan James commented on You Tube.....

We're not ones for hyperbole here at StanJames.com, but this presenter must be the most uninformed man in the WORLD!!!

I'm more shocked that Stan James don't know who you are. ;-)

Blimey. The way he's driving, you won't be able to see woods for the trees.

I'll leave the puns to you, Tighty. Chapeau and all that.

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/flat/king-george-vi-and-queen-elizabeth-stakes/winner

Taghrooda bypasses the Irish Ooaks, for which it was 1/2, the owners preferring to go for the King George next week instead

Getting an age and sex allowance, isn't it a great each-way bet at 8-1?

http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/9384736/taghrooda-heads-to-king-george

you could pick holes in telescope, say that mukhadram nicked the eclipse falsely by the way the race is run etc etc, so these older horses might be worth taking on with the allowances?

It was a good bet, but I was just too slow.  The price just went at BMU as I was there, and the others have gone already barring racebets

That 8/1 never lasted long.

Generally 5/1 or 11/2 now.

If Tiger Woods wins this week it must go down as one of his greatest wins, maybe not shots won by but in terms of coming thru injury and winning a few weeks after looking very rusty. He's been away with his kids since then and practicing links golf for a week or so.

The Top US market has Tiger and Mickelson at the head of it and Mick is talking a good game but hasn't played too well this year tho he has got a little more consistent. It looks like a good market to bet in but the place terms are rubbish at 1/4 the first four. Given we are on Dufner in the outright and as he says he loves the course we might as well take a small win bet at 44 on BF in the top US market ( im guessing this doesn't disqualify us from getting 8 places in the Outright?)

maybe a fiver or tenner at 44?

Hold this pls.  Just going to check the t and Cs

leave it if there is doubt, Tony has a fiver with me at 44.

Put this £5 at 44 down to me Tony if you want it.

cheers

tikay to clarify. a bet for the thread or not?
