Spent rather to long on the first at Carlisle....
http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/carlisle/17:45/winnerThis race is part of the Fegentri series for lady riders and marks the start of the ladies only card tonight at Carlisle.
The series is made up of 12 races in 2014 and carries a very nice first prize (sponsorship and expensive jewellery).
Here are the current standings so far for the ladies.

*Bold indicates have a ride tonight.
The battle for the top spot is between the top five with only four races left this year, Barbara does not have a ride this evening so my first angle is the first four are going to be busted a gut to ride out even if its for third. (The points structure means top 3 placings are rewarded very heavily.)
Anyway onto the actual race, as with most of this series the races are very low grade with horses who generally dont win.
Betting Order.
Diddy Eric, Ridden by Alice Mills who has had 7 jumps and 6 flat winners over here. She is excellent with a great attitude and as the standings shows is one of the better riders in this field. The horse is a long standing maiden and hard to back at 5/2.
Hail Bold Chief, Ridden by Megan Nicholls who is not actually part of this series but as family name indicates can ride (rode a winner for tonights trainer last week) horse has fair back form but comes here of a long break and the trainers stats of a break are not good at 5/1 can win without me.
SPOKESPERSON Ridden by Silja Storen doing a bit more research she has ridden in over 300 races in Norway with 20 wins and 60 places. She leads the standings so far and touch wood has barely been out of the frame so far. Spokesperson has had a very light career for a six year old, started with Godolphin before presumably going wrong and coming back two years later showed nothing has re appeared this year for this trainer and ran three solid races from around this mark for this trainer. A similar run tonight will get at least a place here.
REMIX ridden by Michelle Blumenauer she has had 150 rides in Germany and 19 wins and sits a close second in the standings. Remix is trained by Ian Williams who does well in these types of races. The horse likes quicker ground and was well backed second last time out, tbf it has been running very poorly but when they back them from this trainer its usually spot on. Has some solid form at the track and is worthy of a smaller each way bet.
The rest have chances but with the fav being a bit of a non winner and a couple of complete rags it has a fair/good each way shape.
Suggest £20 each way SPOKESPERSON 5/1 koral and £10 each way REMIX 9/1 bmu
