Nice start to that bet Kmac, N1

Worth going in again on Hearts for title you reckon. Winner still have them over !(not sure how much they lay though as no acct)

I personally liked the e/w aspect of it most with an outside chance of scooping both parts.  I think Winner are win only though are they not?

I like coral 9/4 1/3 odds.

Too short I think.  I thought initially the right price should have been around 11/4 - 3/1 mark.  Seems like a bit of an overreaction after one game.

Tikay will be chuffed, because I think Lewis Hamilton would have to win the title driving backwards, if he wants any shot at getting SPOTY now.

Last price matched on BF was 60 if you're punting, Pads.

Walker and Duboisson finished tied for 7th and returned profits of £51 and £56 respectively on dead heat payouts for top ten finishes

losers

Rose -£70

Scott -£40, though this should be the BFSB McIlroy free bet refund as it was the first bet placed

Moore -£20

Stricker -£10

Leishman -£16

Reed -£10

Furyk -£20 (four places each way)

Overall on the USPGA, a loss of £93 which could have been a total whiff at many points over the weekend

ongoing positions

Hearts beat Rangers 2-1 away in the opening game of the Scottish Ryman League, Central division. Or at least that's what i thought i was watching. A good start, as Rangers reap what they Sow.

Double bet Hooper did not play for Norwich in their insipid opening season loss. Calf problem

All bar one of yesterday's cricket games was washed out. The exception was a Taunton where Sussex chased 190 in 33 overs to beat Somerset and make ground in their division

top 4 through, 8 games each per group. Encouraging

 Royal London One-Day Cup - Group B
Team    Played    Won    Lost    Tied    N/R    R/R    Points
1    Kent      6    3    0    1    2    0.247    9.0
2    Somerset    6    3    2    1    0    0.459    7.0
3    Nottinghamshire    5    2    0    1    2    0.267    7.0
4    Sussex    6    3    3    0    0    -0.398    6.0
5    Durham    6    2    3    0    1    0.14    5.0
6    Warwickshire    5    2    2    0    1    -0.073    5.0
7    Middlesex    6    2    3    0    1    -0.151    5.0

In baseball the Cardinals beat the Orioles 8-3. The Orioles are now 5 games clear of the Blue Jays who beat Detroit in extra innings. The Yankees lost again

The Detroit loss was huge news for the Kansas City Royals who swept the Giants, beating them 7-4 and are now only half a game behind them in the AL Central  . Much excitement in Kansas City, they being the MLB franchise longest out of the play offs and with a salary budget half that of the Tigers. We have them to win the division at 7-1, and the Tigers/Royals play each other six times in the remaining 45 games

elsewhere yesterday

Tsonga won in Cincinnati, beating Djokovic, Murray and Federer to climb back into the World top 10

Arsenal decided to apply for an enlarged trophy cabinet.

Wow, we nearly got out of it on the Golf bets, well done lads.

Wish we could have those sort of "books" every week, with the depth & width of expertise we have here we'd do very nicely in the long term.

I've spent a lot of time researching and writing NFL ante-post stuff for BE

The first article Divisions, Conferences and Super-bowl markets is at http://www.bettingemporium.com/tips/index/51.

Trying to pick turn-around stories, and explaining why these happen in the NFL

The second article : Team and player specials is out later in the week

looking at the trends for markets like most passing yards, rookie of the year etc etc

I think there is some real value in some of these. tikay would be ok if I placed a selection, to a budget, and folllowed them through the season?

These are free to read so available to us, Neil's week by week season analysis is in a paid package.
