Lolz. All that for £4.16 Cheesy

Thanks for the reply, Bad Beat. There is another point, on the other side of the coin. This might just be a "me" thing, but, if I post something as a bet or as a possible bet for discussion, I'm doing it because it's the product of my own research, analysis, biases, hunches and tea leaf markings. I am happy to accept criticism and learn from my mistakes, to accept guidance when the bet can be improved upon and, occasionally, to take the credit when it romps home with a double handful.

For us casual puntery types, it's nice to get something right and see it through. Now, if an elder likes it or it pops up on a tipping site, that's the kind of validation folks like me really enjoy. Maybe it's an example of the community bit of Fred in action. The important thing for me is it's come from me, even if it were at the same time as someone else.

The more and more varied tipsters we have the better, although we shouldn't underestimate the importance and impact of the elders. I'm all for BE tips being shared on here as much as you and Joe are happy to share them. I am really just stressing the importance of people putting up their fancies and bets and taking ownership of them.

I'm rambling. Sorry. All good. Let's do wins.

Im sorry I missed this?

James Hanson 80-1 for L1 top scorer with PP, 1.4 top four.

He's the main man for a mid-table team and already has two on the board. As short as 20-1 elsewhere.

Flick in a fiver each-way please to add to the big-priced portfolio.

So many holes in this market. Jamille Matt is out long-term for example and is 50-1 pretty much across the board.

Interesting timing John, following straight on from the Post where we were restricted to 17 pence with the same firm!

It's probably a syndicate of 100 people at 20p each.

Since we can't get on with this bunch of Irish jokers, should we just ban them from ever getting mentioned here?

Whether it was our 17p each-way that did the damage, whether they snooped it or whether someone else got a fiver on, it's all pretty pointless. Hanson has gone from 80-1 to 33-1.

They must get more mentions on here than any other firm.

Move over FIFA!

The Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) is the governing body of international chess. The presidential election happened this evening, with the president of 19 years, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov competing against Garry Kasparov.

If you want to read how an election in chess happens - lol @ if, of course you do - then enjoy:

http://www.chess.com/news/breaking-ilyumzhinov-beats-kasparov-110-61-at-fide-presidential-elections-4528

“FIDE lacks corporate sponsorship. There are too many empty promises. I'd like to thank Mr Ilyumzhinov for his 19 years of service, but it's time to move forward.” He added: “Tomorrow, the entire FIDE budget will be doubled,” and applause followed
.

Hard to understand what happened next.

http://www.oddschecker.com/tv/big-brother

not saying 25/1 is huge value, but think 40/1 was very big.

Daily Report

Loss on Month £332.74

Outstanding Bets £3607.82

Free bets to use £20 Betfair Sportsbook by 18th Aug

No bets completed yesterday

Pride of place today to baseball

Overnight the Baltimore Orioles beat the New York Yankees 11-3, to go 7 games clear of them in the AL East and six clear of the Blue Jays

The Kansas City Royals beat the Oakland A's, probably the best team in the AL, 3-2 behind dominant pitching from rookie Yordano Ventura. The Royals took over the lead in the AL Central. KC have won 9 of the last 10 to overtake the previously unchallenged Tigers

44 games of the regular season to go, and well, we couldn't bink both for around £700 could we? (cue the downswing)

The European super cup takes place tonight at the Cardiff City stadium, which has been extended over the summer

only one thing...aesthetically challenging my OCD and wanting to write Mr Tan a stiff letter on behalf of the ghosts of Archibald Leitch

RIP to this man, Denver Broncos cheerleader, 1980
