Going to suggest the following bets, as always I'm very happy to get any feedback on them..

2.30 Haydock     Looking for a horse that stays further ideally, stats strongly suggest a high draw is favoured, Hostile Fire 6/1 £15 e/w is in good form and seems to fit the bill perfectly to me. will also bet No Poppy 8/1 £5 e/w   and a very speculative £2.50 e/w Berlusca 16/1 who ran a decent last race at York, but guessing whether he'll perform on this surface. Obviously hoping 12 line up, maybe worth holding off till lunchtime to be reasonably sure.

please let me know at lunchtime

for now No Poppy is 7/1 best

Berlusca is into 10-1 or less anywhere that i could get on

Fwiw I think No Poppy is value at 7/1 but it is available as I type at 8.8 on BF and do we really want to bet it each way when the place on BF is 2.98?  Surely better to bet win and place on there.

Don't know if anyone is interested but some more tickets for NFL games at Wembley go on sale at 10am on Ticketmaster

Yup. These are returns for two of the games:

Miami v Oakland (28 Sept, 6pm)

Detroit v Atlanta (26 Oct, 1.30pm)

Some good tickets available for these games at sensible prices. Have just snaffled.

Dallas/Jacksonville is on sale too. I snaffled again.

I already have a season ticket for the 3 games but will get some friends who don't have tickets to take a look

Think we can bet Hostile Fire at 6-1 as above. No Poppy as above if we can access the 8-1 SportingBet otherwise use Betfair as suggested earlier. Think we should leave Berlusca at current price.

Can anyone find a bet at bwin at or above the betfair price in a reasonable liquid event on bf which will be settled in the next week or so (no long term ante post stuff please).  TY in advance

Sorted.

Bwin are 3/10 the no vote and 1/4 belarus in the football today.  You can get 5 times higher limits having mulits with bwin rather than singles so if anyone wants an interest a 'mug' double on these two represents a little value on a quiet thurs afternoon.  Both are under on bf in liquid markets and the bet wouldn't do any harm in keeping your bwin account looking muggish.

Safe to say this is a bent friendly hence the gamble. 1-0 and down to 10 men after 9 mins!

Not the best example of a bent heat considering its 1-1 at half time

They obviously wanted the crown jewels.  Over goals, both teams to score, a red card and the win as well.

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/racing-specials/long-term/2014-british-flat-jockeys-championship/winning-jockey

Already a move for Hughes today

If this happens then Hughes is a great bet at current prices, if it doesnt then you have a bet at very close to the right price anyway

Suggest £50 on Hughes

Hope that's what happens, because we're on Hughes in the handicap market with Billy Hills!

Hughesy on the handicap is pretty much drawing dead thanks to the early injury, but he's a cracking bet at 10-11 for the JC.

Also, while Coral are still holding the 5/2, Madeed 5.20 Haydock tomorrow is a bet.

He was ridic unlucky last time and this is easier off the same mark. I wouldn't want to lay anything above 7/4.
