Oioiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Even by my limited maths ability I think the tennis bet can't lose! Nice one Mere you abs hero.
Well done Mere! Only 50% right, sadly. Final score was 4-6 6-4 6-3 to Dimitrov so no tie-break.

Rendall Munroe @ 7/4 v Scott Quigg
This has the makings of a very good fight but the prices are wrong as far as I'm concerned. Munroe was European Champion from 2008-2010 and had an unsuccessful world title shot in 2010. Since then his career has stagnated somewhat however I think motivation has been a problem for him as his promoter has been unable to deliver big fights for him. Quigg is a decent talent but he is not hard to hit, there are also question marks over his chin after he got dropped by the feather fisted Jamie Arthur in his last fight. The biggest scalp on his record is Jason Booth who was a decent operator in his day but he was shot to shit by the time he fought Quigg. This is a big step up in class for him and I can see Munroe comfortably outboxing him for a pretty comfortable UD.
Recommend £80 @ 7/4 Betvictor
Lol @ "feather-fisted".....! Thanks Bazza. Looks like someone got there before me, best price now 13/8, still Betvictor. Took it anyway, we have £80 @ 13/8, BetVictor, Rendall Munroe. ON

This is a decent bet i think. Quigg is a bit of a talking horse to my mind and I would have thought Rendall will have a fair few fans there I would have thought. Since i have been in the States I haven't followed British boxing as closely as I normally do because I can't get Box nation (if anyone knows a way around this i am willing to pay!!) but off the top of my head this looks a 50-50 fight to me....maybe slight preference for Quigg but Munroe no 7/4 shot.

Does anybody else have problems with Betfair being really slow ? this has been happening more and more in the last few weeks
I find it particulary bad on The US Open golf page..... so much so I struggle to place bets !
Every other site is fine so can only assume they have massive traffic ?

I finf it difficult on the Lappie, but it's slick & fast as lightning on the i-Pad, very impressive indeed.

Yeah, probably right with hindsight, though when backing 6 or 7 long odds shots, I'm not really sure of the maths of ew. Anyway, he might win it yet..... I'm not actually sure if he is playing the " easy" half first today. My eyes are fixated by all the + signs on the scoreboard!

He's just starting to play the really tough stretch of holes now though. Kevin Na was -3 at a similar stage yesterday and finished +4/5. He does look good mind you and wouldn't mind being on myself. GL
