for those interested in westwood in the golf betfred are 22-1 12pm and 2pm today

not for me but maybe of interest to some

Thanks, but in my case, I pre-ejaculated, & I'm already on. Blame "doubleup".....

the tiger money back and the extra place were worth a bit extra.  Also betfred "offers" quite often disappear or are severely restricted before you can get any money on them, I just ignore them.

Umm, my thoughts exactly.

First course news is it might play pretty long this year as there is rain forecast for all three days between now and first tee time and possibly the odd thunderstorm on Thursday and rain on Friday too. looks nice at the weekend tho at the mo.

im going to stick my neck out even further here and suggest another bet

ROBERT GARRIGUS TOP DEBUTANT MARKET US MASTERS £10 EWAY 16-1 (GENERAL 1-4 ODDS FIRST 3)

Right bradley is a deserved favourite but whether anybody should be 7-4 in a debutant market here. reasoning for robert is as follows

1. best on long yardage tracks

2. twice runner up in 2012 so in decent form

3. best results on bentgrass greens (in use here)

4. 8th in gir on tour and 7th in birdie average two of the more important stats here

personally i have backed him in this market and outright to trade but backing debutants to win at the masters will not work! this however looks a very fair bet

Interesting piece of unearthing there Mr HP, thank you.

I think we ought to get some feedback from our Golfy Chaps before plunging.

I hope they "like" though.

Correct, I was just looking at that.

The Blackburn DNB has also firmed to 11/2 best, 5/1 generally, too. (We are on @ 6/1).

If I have absorbed the sermons correctly, if we beat the market, we have value. Mostly, sort of.

My golf coach reckons Quiros. Couldn't back Westwood to win a major ever. Chokey chokey. Think Rory at 5-1 with PP refunding losing bets if Tiger wins makes a bit of sense but no bets here.

This is true although it does not always feel like that

He is in good form and it should suit him. Its one of those Mr Channing horrid ew books tho where there are 15 runners and you are only getting three places. Its a pity there wasn't another runner to make it 16 and 4 places, tho there are a few at the bottom that will struggle to win it. So you are getting 16/5 he is in the first three for the place money, where with another runner you would have got 4/1 he was in the top 4., makes a big difference.

yes, the draw no bet price you took is a good one, it is now currently under 6/1. Sorry I didn't reply in full to your post last night Tony, I was playing the golf at the time.

The way to find out the correct DNB price using the match prices was posted earlier in the thread but here it is.

take the match prices on BF now

Blackburn 8.6
Draw 5
Man Utd 1.45

Take 1 point off the draw which gives you 4, times it by the Blackburn price of 8.6, then divide by the full draw price of 5. This gives you 6.88, or 5.88/1

Makes the Man Utd price around 1.16 with a bit of % still in it, to get them to 100% you should convert the match prices down to 100% and then do the same but they are near enough really.

ps , did you use the word sermon to mean a good or bad thing? Smiley
