good day for the Newcastle top 4 bet
Tips for tikay is on that, right?
Very spooky this.
Shortly after you posted that, I was chatting away on a nice table @ DTD, & sat two to my right was the very man who tipped it on this thread, that "Newcastle to finish Top 4" bet - "geordieneal". The price when he tipped it? 11/1. Well done him, & anyone else who got on. I was a non-believer, marv.
He had a great day yesterday winning the comp and taking robs money as you did ( although I think I saw you donate yours back to charity or the dealers )

now 8/5 best priced
(didn't back it myself as never bet on my beloved Newcastle)
little bet I do like today is the Stephen Maguire v Luca Brecel.......Brecel is 4/1 for a 2 horse race, the guy is an awesome "prospect" and is highly likely to win a world championship or 9 in his life time.......maybe a bit young right now, but he has got nowt to lose against the very good and experienced Maguire........wouldn't risk much ...max £20 or so, but worth a punt
ps binked the tourni
Thanks.
Got 4/1 with Paddy Power, for £20.
He is also 4/1 with Sporting Bet, elsewhere generally 7/2.

ON
Win
Single: Luca Brecel @ 4/1
1 line at £20.00 per line
Total stake for this bet: £20.00
Potential returns: £100.00
No: O/23146337/0000017
NOTE - for anyone who wants to punt this, I believe it starts at 10am this morning.

was having an oily rag on ur exit, but heard it was a JJ shove v Snoop Dogs Q 10 for a reasonably large amount (Nice call mr dog).....if it makes u feel any better I took most of his chips
The Brecel bet is a "punt" he clearly has the talent, but how will he handle the big stage, this is obv a factor in the 4/1 price.....starts 10am btw

Today's interest?
Nothing that I can see, other than a fun bet on smirky Schumi to get a podium finish in the Bahrain F1. One F1 expert suggested that he will "go backwards" during the race, which will be neat trick, as he starts near the back of the grid anyway. Hmm.
Our long term IPL cricket bet is in action today as Mumbai Indians take on Kings XI Punjab. MI currently sit 6th in the table but have 1 or 2 games in hand on all of the teams above them. Every team has lost at least 2 matches so far. This is a big week for Mumbai as they play 4 games and will be looking for a minimum of 3 wins.
The good news is that Tendulkar should return after missing the last four games. The bad news in that Malinga has flown home for treatment on back spasms and is going to miss at least the next 2 weeks. If he is ruled out of the tournament it will be a big blow to our chances of winning.
Todays match starts at 11.30am.

Talking of NBA Philly visit Indiana...As earlier this week.. Can't see much past the pacers again...this time with home court adv where they are 8/9 recently..there red hot and Philly still misfiring against teams with over .500 record... Around 1.52
If ur looking for a dog with a real chance then the Dallas mavericks have a decent shout away to the league leading Chicago..Chicago go again without league MVP derrick Rose..whilst they seemed to compensate earlier in the season without their oft injured superstar they have struggled of late losing last week at home to 2nd worst in the league Washington.
World champs Dallas haven't been their best this season but are still a force to be reckoned with nowitski playing as hard as ever. Dallas are holding hard to 6th position in their conference and have everything to play for.... Priced around 2.45
Safer bet maybe dallas +6.5 @ 1.9
Sigh I hate NBA sometimes..pacers went to overtime after they wasted a chance to win it..where they made 3 huge almost rookie mistakes including a 4 point play..fouling a 3 shooter who gets there and gets an extra three throw..in NBA terms like an own goal..twice.. They lose 109-106... Chicagos Rose although reported hobbling and out till playoffs and some saying it might be best for him to sit the season suddenly starts and makes the difference as the bulls take it by ten..had a brutal day yesterday just about everywhere..sigh....oh well..next lol

Yup, he limped, I shoved with J-J , thinking he might call wide - he does call VERY wide - & he said "do you want a call, dude?". "Yup" I said, & fair play to him, he did, with Q-10.
Soon as I saw the door card J I feared the worst, but as it was followed by 7-3, I thought I was safe, before variance spat in my eye. I rather liked him, actually, real character.
Brucel -
young
Brucel - has started reasonably well & should win the 2nd frame. Whoops, in off he goes.....

With this thread seemingly the 2nd most popular on the forum, beaten only by tighty's live updates, and assuming you haven't gone busto over a failed coup on Myanmar's version of Dancing on ice. Have you formulated a plan to keep the thread alive when you are in the states, as I assume you will not be able to access your betting sites?

understandably a very nervous start, but u can see the talent.....if he can come out no worse than 3-1 before the mid session interval then hes still in with a shout.......but what ever happens, he certainly one for the future

Brecel, 2 - 0 down but it's an intriguing watch. He needs to settle a bit and get one on the board.
On BBCi player now.

Yes.
I've never tried to punt from the USA, but if I cannot bet Online from there with UK sites, presumably I can bet out there "live" via the Sports Lounges etc?
Beyond that, if I can't bet out there, yes, Plan B exists, I'm sure I could set it up with MereMandate.

I believe it is on TV, ITV 4, the whole match.
No spot bets please!

The Bad
Boxing.
In what sounded a bit of an odd affair, the result went completely the wrong way.
First two rounds went pretty much as I thought it would then Crolla walked on to one in the 3rd and it changed things around. A bad cut in the 4th didn't help matters either. Matthews was drinking in the last chance saloon last night and produced his best performance for 5 years or so. The bet was already in trouble but it doesn't help matters when an incompetent official calls a premature halt to things. Had Crolla been on the receiving end from start to finish I could have accepted it but he was having his own success and was hurting Matthews with the left to the body (although he wasn't throwing it often enough) and I was hopeful he would break him down late on but it wasn't to be.
Two weeks in a row I've been shafted by the officials although last weeks was much worse. I had a bet on Abril v Rios. I was at a wedding in Spain so had no access to pictures so was relying on my mate who is a decent judge of a fight texting me round by round updates. At the end of the 12 he has it 118-110 Abril and says "not even close". I've already got my money counted when he then texts me to say Rios got a split decision.
