Wade not turned up, couldnt pick an easier game to get dragged to a 100 avg. He is throwing like an 85 average realistically so guess we lucky that are still in with a shout

Daily Summary, as at 0830 Friday May 4th.
We made a profit yesterday. £5. Every little helps, & it beats a loss.
Our County Cricket bet was attended by our Cricket Corry, Tighty - thats dedication to the cause. Reports indicate that it was a typically enthralling days play.
Middlesex: Yet to bat
Worcestershire: Yet to bat
Close
Yet to bat continues today. More news as and when it happens.
In reality, it barely changes the possibility of a result. The weather forecast for London this weekend is occasional rain, and very cold.
Our only other active interest yesterday was in the PL Darts, where we had one winner, & one loser, for a £5 profit. Luckily, we avoided the temptation to do a double.
The month has begun very quietly for the Thread Fund, just bits & bobs really, & a £110 loss at this stage is neither here nor there.

Whats coming up?
Today, nothing, other than a few in-running bets.
The proper cricket - (see previous Post), the World Snooker "frames" - last I heard we were in deep trouble - & I believe the Mumbai Indians played some bish bash bosh, though I've no idea how they fared. They seem to be comfortably mid-table from what I can deduce from this.....
http://www.itv.com/indianpremierleague/table/
Just the County Cricket & snooker frames today, then.
Tomorrow, it all changes though, & I think we have top side of £500 invested this weekend one way or another.
Have I missed any bets? I've still got to sort Scotty2hatty's Greyhound Derby suggestion, though the choices have been narrowed for me, which makes it much easier, & I'll sort that today.
I swerved a Basketball bet yesterday, which, inevitably, coasted home. Well done Dean, blame Mr Kimber for putting us off. We really do struggle with our Basketball timing.
Live sport on TV tonight includes a Championship play-off (Blackpool-Birmingham) which may arouse some interest.
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/blackpool-v-birmingham/winner
....and in RL, Wigan v Hull KR, which looks to be a finely balanced affair, Skybet offering a generous 1/25 Wigan. Shop around, you can get as much as 1/9 elsewhere.

Tonight is game 3 in the NBA match up Miami heat v New York Knicks... Miami have crushed NY in the 2 games in Miami and now the series turns to New York.
New York are already without Jeremy 'Linsanity ' Lin, classy rookie shumpert went down with a torn ACL i believe in game one and now one of their other big players Stoudemire decided to gash his hand on a fire door as he slapped it in frustration after the game 2 loss..this just leaves NY with Anthony & Chandler of their big players fit.
Even with a monstrous home crowd led by the eponymous Spike Lee in the front row NY are going to be right against it as the red hot heat blow into town. the heat may or may not have Chris Bosh one of their big 3 as he wife has just given birth but he could still make tip off... the Heat still have league MVP lebronde James and Wade backed up by some good bench players.
The two met in New York as recent as the 15th April with the game very much meaning something..Miami ran out 8 point winners.
All this makes the money line of Miami -5 on bet 365 seem generous as the first two games went 100-67 & 104-94 Heat favour.
Unless i'm missing something ( Mr Jaffacake confirm or deny please ) money line looks good or a nitty 1.61 for -3 even better
Missed Winner, to get in before the Dean chirp.

Many thanks to Mere, for his running Update on the Darts, complete with TV pictures. Love the symmetry of the refreshments, & the Fosters spam.

Quite surprised to see that as of minutes ago, Boylesports have not settled either of our two Darts bets from last night, which I find a little odd. Is this usual? Seems odd to me - had they been winners, it would have freed up "betting money" to re-innvest. Both bets are still listed as "OPEN".
03.May 2012 17:31 2/2 80.00 W Single Wade v Taylor : James Wade 3 Dart Average Over 98.5 EVS Open
Open
80.00
03.May 2012 17:28 1/1 100.00 W Single Anderson v Van Barneveld : Raymond Barneveld 3 Dart Average Under 97.5 17/20 Open
Open
100.00
They also state, alongside my account balance - "Free Balance £20". What is this? I only opened the acccount, (& deposited £250), yesterday, & I invested £180, leaving a balance (also shown) of £70 pre-settlement of the Darts bets.

It is a little unusual for them to take so long on the darts bet, mine were settled after 15 mins but that was Betfred. If it is not sorted out today then send an email as they are probably in the online/betting ether.
As regards the free £20, that is likely to be a bonus that the site have given you, they do that for favoured clients from time to time. When you place your next bet with them you will have the option to place it with the free money. I believe there was a discussion ITT about using free money to place bets at big odds to make maximum use of it but I didn't fully get the argument. I would just see the free money as BANZAI !!

Thanks hector.
I just looked again - still not been settled. It's nearly 0930!
Not impressed with that. Perhaps there is a Stewards Inquiry.

Mumbai sneaked home by 1 run yesterday and sit 3rd in the league.
They have yet to hit top form and have suffered injuries to tendulkar, malinga and now pollard.
If they have a fully fit squad going into the last couple of weeks and find a bit more form with the bat then they are still well placed for winning the IPL.

Stewards enquiry on that game.
Never seen something so hooky in my entire days.
