Sad news. I said I would post later but football betting seems irrelevant when you hear news like that.

Cresswell starts, Porter on bench I am reading so it's a 5 man midfield.

If you have the stomach for it i'd take 5/6 with BV for less than 2.5 goals.

I'll leave it with you Tikay.

Very much that.

Tom has just been on the 'phone, in floods of tears, Bobby just sent me a photo from Wembley, he has taken his little lad to watch Sheff Utd for the first time, the sun is shining.....

Feel so very odd right now. I never even knew the man was ill, & that's the mark of the man.

We must move on I guess, & I think he'd love that. "Our mate has died, let's have a football bet" is something he might have written in his strangely ironic style.

Thanks for the Sheff Utd news, anyway. We might have a dabble shortly, I'll confirm if we do.

Strange you should say that about the bet. I used to read his Voy pour estedes blog and found it superbly written and very funny. As a tribute to him I decided to have an afternoons betting ( well I would have done it any way ) and dedicate it to him. 2 horses so far, 2 winners. Need Rose to lose his golf 2 ball and Marcel Siem ( 3G's Belgian mate)to win his for a decent double.

What next?

63: In case you were wondering, I am doing minute-by-minute updates on the League 1 play-off final. It's just that nothing has happened yet.

It may go Pete Tong, but the Sheff Utd analysis earlier was spot on, in terms of their approach

Who are you doing it for Rich -  the Press Association?

Where is it published?

Do you get to choose the gigs, or do you wait for a note sending you wherever?

Where would you have chosen to be, given a choice? Twickers, or  Trent Bridge?

Bobby is there, with his young lad, at his first ever match, too.

Scotty - he may well have been,  I get whooshed daily, but he does do PA stuff, but I only thought he did County Cricket, hence my plethora of daft questions.
