morning tikay, just thought id throw my two pennys worth in for the speedway this weekend whilst i had chance, i know you never backed my last bet last week which was good anyway because it was rained off so would of been a money back job anyway, so here goes, its the speedway gps again this weekend and it the turn of the danes so the danish gp, i have been having a look at a few stats online with interest and have come up with danish star nicki pedersen as  my main pic to win the weekends fixture , he is in tremendous form bagging a 15 point maximum midweek for his sweedish team indianerna, at the last gp in sweeden he was top scorer in the heats scoring 15 out of 15 points before suprisingly fallen short in the semi finals, the gp before in prague 2 weeks previous he won, hes so bang in form and being danish everybody in the stadium rooting for him i believe he is a standout bet, another fact is hes also the track record holder around the parken arena, hes finished on the podium in 3 of the last 5 gps there also, oh and best of all hes available at 4/1 with yours truly sky bet Smiley im gonna have a little flutter and i hope you will join me and i can finally grab a little win for you , good luck if you play along , big tadge !!!!!! Smiley

Thanks Tadge.

I did back that last one - the Peterboroigh fixture - it got abandoned, & we got "voided". Almost like a win for us these days, that.

Quite like this bet, (he is also 4/1 with bet Victor) but I'm gonna wait until some more prices are up before making a decision. A little $£25 or so @ 4/1 or better looks quite reasonable.

McIlroy shoots first round 68 and sits 3 off the lead. Doesn't look like a hole in 1 has happened so far either.

Correct.

liking tighty's tip. greece have taken only 3 forwards to the tournament, they have a grand total of 2 international goals between them

and as stated lewandowski is the main polish threat but great player as he is he's hardly prolific internationally

Think that Greece forward info is wrong. Samaras is there and he's got a few for them.

I can't say I'm really a fan thus far but Word has it that Andy Carroll is going to get the starting spot over Danny Welbeck (Carroll has the No 9 shirt).

If he does start and performs well he could keep his place in a 2 man attack even when Rooney returns.

He is a a very generous price for top English goalscorer for a medium investment but only if you can get the 15-2 on offer at Paddy Power

I think it depends completely on the style of football we play. Carroll will be wasted if we convince ourselves we can pass it about like Spain. If we lump it up to him like Stoke or Big Sam's Bolton, we stand a much better chance. He'll win everything in the air and we have plenty of players who can shoot from the edge of the box.

Yeah I was going to post that, he plays every game when fit tho not always as a striker tho can play up front himself if Greece go that formation.

yeah you're right, not sure what I was looking at to get that info, completely misread something. saying that though even with the correct info their 4 forwards only have 40 goals in 200 appearances between them

Harry's Whim - 2.55 Market Raisen.

It's a small price according to the guide, but currently at 9/4. I do very much fancy it.

I think this is a really good bet and, unlike Fraser, I would be willing to take shorter probably down to 13/2.

You agreed with me ?

Okay...Ive just recovered   Smiley

It looks like our man Kerzhakov is going to be  the main striker for Russia and has been heavily backed...

our 6-1 is looking good value now   Cheers Horneris

Seems a very risky proposition to me, what price do you make Carroll to start? He is outsider on Betfair and twitter this morning was raving about Welbeck's finishing in training.

I had to check and double check to make sure but yep this is definitely value mate ;-).

Horner- think the clincher is that Carroll could potentially play on whereas welbeck is a straight swap for Rooney.   I think Carroll is a shade of odds on but am prepared to be corrected if you disagree

Let me try and answer in full...

4 strikers  Rooney,Carroll.Defoe ,Wellbeck

Rooney suspended for 2 matches and Defoe not 1st choice and obviously not in best frame of mind after losing his father

If you look on the betfair "to start" market there is no liquidity at all so you cant use this as guidance  (in fact people are wanting to back Carroll at 2.5...and welbeck only has money for him at 3.25 which would indicate Carroll starts )

http://sports.betfair.com/football/market?id=1.105837845&exp=e

and the same can be said of betfairs top english goalscorer market which has Carroll and welbeck near on price but again not enough money to use for guidance

http://sports.betfair.com/football/market?id=1.105472940&exp=e

My man reckons it will be Carroll and the shirt No9 would indicate the same...but regardless even if he does come off the bench 15 -2 is still plenty big enough and represents a decent value bet

I would make it as high as 75/25% Carroll over Wellbeck  (no bets before you ask just my opinion) If so Carroll is defintely  too big at 15-2

Fair enough, Redarmi makes a good point about playing on.

Personally I would play Carroll over Welbeck if it was me, gl guys
