Kell Brook v Carson Jones

Tonight.
Hometown favourite Brook is big odds on favourite.

Brook is currently 27 wins from 27 with 17 KO's.
Jones is currently 34 wins from 44 with 24 KO's.

In my opinion Brook has been spoon fed pretty mediocre opposition and has disposed of them comfortably. The only time he has looked troubled is when he has been put under sustained pressure(as in his last two fights , v Galarza , and v Hatton who took him the 12 rounds) as his defensive work is very suspect.

Jones has come to fight !
He looks in terrific shape , is ranked two places higher than Brook , has fought better opposition,is young and hungry.....and he can bang.
In the last four years his only defeats have been by SD and UD so his ability to go the distance is not in doubt and if he can overcome Brooks expected early onslaught i think a late TKO /Decision in his favour.

Recommend  Jones  by TKO    £20 @ 11/1  Bet Victor
Jones by Decision  £20 @  16/1  Bet Victor

Fred's going to dodge this one because of contrary opinions.
However, I know an elderly gentleman who has happily taken the plunge. Smiley

Whether it works out or not, great read on this fight boo

£50, Sara to win Big Brother, 14-1 Padraig Power.

Just a feeler this one, pending edits over the next few days. Might top up quite a bit then.

Perfect, that's all I wanted to hear Smiley

Weber to lead after 5 laps  4-1,  can only get on 365 though.

Mightily disappointing result in the tennis.

Feels much worse tipping up an 8/15 loser than a 7/4 loser even when the value is just as prevalent.

Fair play to the other team, they played amazing, as well as they possibly could have. Our main man Lindstedt wasn't firing on all cylinders either, a lack of first serves at the crucial moments and miles more mistakes on his 1st return shot than usual.

Oh well, come on Andy tomorrow I spose!

Same reason I was reluctant to speak up against the Carson Brook bet but it was a perfectly good bet mate.  Keep them coming.

I always check max bets, and what i was offered for this market was pretty poor. Never normally blink before the liability is 5k or so. Used to offer me chunks for Spanish football (2nd div) even though the account was up like 25x average stake inside 2 months. Obscurity of market won't help either. Never had a problem with 365 unlike others, but did mess about with casino play early into accounts life so that will have helped.

Daily Report, as @ 05:30, Sunday July 8th

A step backwards for Fred yesterday but we can't win them all.

Congratulations to Serena Williams on winning the women's title at Wimbledon. Fred managed to turn a winning tip on this match into a losing bet and we had another losing bet on the Men's Doubles final which was a thriller.

We had a winner on the England and Australia cricket ODI.

The Kell Brook fight was close but he won on points in the end. Fred didn't make a bet on this one.

After three rounds of the French Open golf there have been no holes-in-one and only 10 eagles in total. It's a shame that Fred delayed too long over a bet on this.

What's coming up?

It's the Men's Final at Wimbledon with Andy Murray taking on Roger Federer. We haven't picked out a bet yet, perhaps there isn't a good one available.

There's T20 cricket.

The golf concludes.

The Tour De France continues.

The British Grand Prix at Silverstone starts at 1pm. We have had lots of "tips" for this one but nothing for Fred.

There's a MotoGP race in Germany.
