Yes, have been trying to work out whether this was deliberate!

Tighty remains at the no.1 spot in my 'should be a pro punterer' list.

Swanson 11-2 with Mountains to score any time again tonight v Millwall. Was half tempted as he's prob starting tonight but we're unlikely to score four like against Southend, so will skip.

Yo Mr Chomps.

Am reading that as  "not a bet". Sure sign he'll score, that......

Well played indeed on the Fellaini bet Mr Tightend, for me it was a far more satisfactory coup than the cricket bet. Superbly reasoned, thought out and executed. A bit like spotting that Snow White was being priced up at 6-1 to score at any time with a header round at her house during a game of 3 and in. By the way I thought that Mr Tightend was supposed to be put into a poker tournament or did I miss it?

When he is good & ready, he plays, the money is safely banked.

It's with His Tighnesss to decide where & when. He needs to hurry up & make his mind up though!

I reckon we should get him to play a WSOP Event next year. Epic

Well the plan was a Monte Carlo, but there hasn't been one this year!

If there isn't one by say Xmas, I'll nominate an early £500 next year assuming I can find people available to update it.

I think we have more than £500 Rich. We ought to bump the thread, it's somewhere in GPC.

ok. I'm easy. The problem has been finding a >£500 DTD event, firstly and secondly not being required to work the big ones.

You weren't on Excellent Jem and Watt broderick today were you?
One was punted from 7/1 to 13/8 and the other 5/2 to 10/11, both tailed off and both seemed to have been best price with Hills all Day if that's just a coincedence?

Helsingborg to beat Celtic tonight in Champs League 1st leg @ 12/5 BetVictor looks decent.
Celtic have started the season poorly and don't look up to speed (injury time equaliser against Ross County in last game) whereas Helsingborg are well into their season although they aren't doing great themselves.
Celtic do have a long injury list although a couple are back for this one.
Helsingborg do have a decent home record with just 1 defeat in 10 and Celtics away win at Helsinki in the last round was only their 2nd away win in nine years in Europe.
Helsingborg are generally 2/1 or a shade under and I reckon that's probably around the correct price so the 12/5 represents a small bit of value.
Recommend £25 Helsinborgs @ 12/5. If price gone, leave it.

excellent jem was at yarmouth a track i try and avoid

watt broderick was at brighton a track i do avoid!

both tracks generally stage very low grade racing with poor inconsistent horses

looking at the form closely now i cant really see why excellent jem was so short on the back of one good run last time (though it arguably wasnt that good a run anyway)

watt broderick the trainer has been in really good form this last ten days so i can see that one a bit more

Any thoughts about Derby being 2012/13s version of Peterbrough?

Overs have been punted again tonight I see.

Helsingborgs have being drifting all day and tbh I have no idea why. Pay no attention to Celtics league form it's all about the CL qualifiers so far and we have won both games albeit against a poor Helsinki side. Celtic  have 3 changes from Saturday, Helsingborgs have  lost their top goalscorer since the last round. Also Celtic don't have to win tonight  and have only lost 1 of their last 4 away in Europe.

I agree 12/5 is big but just thought I would share some other info.

They are a bigger price than Helsinki were which is just wrong, I was going to stick up Helsingborg to but this drift seemed a bit strange as it was so late on in the Day and started with the Euro Books.

excellent jem was hooded first time, stable in very good form, barzelona on board and it wasn't much of a race, so several reasons for the gamble.  Think there was a bit of a draw bias at Yarmouth which didn't help it, but was never going at all.

Can safely say Peterborough aren't going to be the 2012/13 version of Peterborough. Fancy things are gonna get worse before they get better. Starting with 7/5 Leeds on Saturday, sigh.
