1000+ pages, wow. Well done all.

Just as I am still rather new to Fred, is Fred generally in profit over the life of it?

I don't fancy a look around ALL pages!

Not sure about "generally", but specifically, yes, it is in profit.

The figures are published every single morning in this thread, usually at around 7am, in the "Daily Report", & by clicking the link, every single bet we have ever had is clearly shown together with profits & losses. The balance sheet is struck each month end, & each month is then included in an overall summary.

As at this morning, using the "Fred" Stakes, overall profit sits at £892.75 over the 7 month period.

Must resist putting up thread hero Andy Murray.

Finally, we had it off in the American Football, for a most handsome £100.

This was thanks to bobby1 ChipRich, who gave us a right good bet for Miami Dolphins to score 18 or less, saying this, complete with twin ellipses.

“…..Will be totally and utterly stunned if Miami can score 19+…..”

Top spotting that, thanks Rich.

Worthy of a US flag on The Hendon Mob?

Did we green up on the cyclist? How much we clear on Clary?

Chip Rich gets a US Fred Flag, deffo.

We did not green up on the cycliist chap, because wiser counsel regularly inform me that is akin to urinating equity up a wall.

Who or what is Clary?

My recommendation for T20 World Cup starting tomorrow:

I am of the opinion that the West Indies are value at 13/2.  I find it odd that they are ranked equally with England, Pakistan and woeful Australia, as well as being behind Sri Lanka.  India are worthy favs but I think Windies are the team to take them on with.

On the batting front, Chris Gayle needs no introduction and is the roasting hot favourite in the top batsman market.  He is assisted by a rejuvenated Marlon Samuels as well as big hitting Keiron Pollard and Dwayne Smith all of whom were big contibutors in the 2012 IPL which was played in similar conditions.  The Bravos add depth, but the key thing for me is they have BY FAR the best T20 bowler in the world in Sunil Narine.  He was the IPL 2012 second highest wicket taker with an economy rate of just 5.5.  The batsmen will be dreading facing him in the death overs when they need to score big runs and he'll shift many a tight game in the Windies favour.

I think they should be 2nd favs behind India, so I've got on myself with a lumpy stake and think 13/2 warrants an interest from the thread at maybe £20-£50.  The tournament starts tomorrow and runs for about a month I think.

Do not forget the bet we already have in the Bengals football jobbie for a man to run along way with the ball.

Thanks Dung.

Pardon me for not being up to date on these things, but does peace, harmony & love now exist in the West Indian cricket world, between the players, & the Board?

I seem to recall it was all a little fraught, & that Gayle, genius that he is, can be a mardybum on occasions.

Oh yes, so we have! I clean forgot that, & that British tennis player in the US Open. My head is spinning a little today, been a heavy 4 days.

I think the chap to whom you refer is Green-Ellis, & he has to rush (run quickly one assumes) for a whole 55 yards in total. I guess he has to carry the ball too, which must add to the difficulty.

The game is at Midnight (UK) tonight, Bengals @ Ravens.

We have £66 @ 10/11.

I think it has improved a fair bit over the last year and the team looked unified in a dominant home servies against NZ with all the big names in attendance, although there is no guarantee it won't blow up again.   However, I'd have thought that for any row over pay/sponsorship etc for this tournament to have already reared its head so I'm hopeful they can concentrate on the cricket this time round!

I see Dr Noh beat McDowell and De Laet scores on the final round. He shot -1 which gives me the impression that he is not able to compete at the very highest level yet but hopefully we can get a good price on him in some lesser events to beat all comers and not just Koreans.

There is huge variance in these Events, but his consistency is, it seems to me, quite extraordinary.

He just needs to find that little extra now, to become one of the "Big Boys".

I've done a little preview on Strictly Come Dancing on that thread (which I'm sure you read but will cross post here just on the off chance you've been deliberately avoiding it)

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=58901.msg1635337#msg1635337

I've recommended Kimberley Walsh at 6/1, but would welcome thoughts of any other Fred elders (particularly Chompy's Len Goodman-style TV specials eye).

I just wanted to see thoughts on Sunderland v Liverpool? Sunderland are 5/2 on William Hill and I think it's a decent price and I don't think the price will be around come the weekend.

Sunderland unbeaten, Liverpool 1 point from 2 and a thrashing in their only away game so far and already let 7 goals in.

Also, striker crisis at Liverpool must surely dampen any thoughts of a Liverpool win at the weekend?

I also looked at previous results between the two, all results between the two over last 4 seasons are pretty even to be fair.

Sunderland to win to nil?

I like the Sunderland price.  Liverpool look woeful right now, and Sunderland really should have beaten Swansea away last time out and got a creditable draw at Arsenal in their other game.
