I gather Rafa Benitez is Southampton bound...

Adkins 3-1 in the first to go market...fwiw

rafa 10-1 with stan james..............

Make that 5/4 now with the same firm....!

Some bugger reading Fred must have lumped £50 on @ 10/1.......

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/next-manager-to-leave-post

think horsey was tipping up rafa next manager at 10/1 not adkins next to go

i was just pointing out the price which seemed big for something tighty had here is happening

personally i avoid next manager markets were possible there is a really good story of a neighbour of paul jewell a few years ago who was told by jewell he had a certain job and would be announced tommorow. Said neighbour lumped the lot on all excited , next day it transpires said board had told 3 other managers the same....

I think we have to look to back Maritimo @ 7/5 tomorrow against Newcastle.  Pardew is ringing the changes and Krul, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Taylor, Guittierrez, Simson, Cabaye and Coloccini will all miss the game.  To back it up I think the Portuguese sides tend to be a little underrated and take the comp seriously with only one change from injury.  They managed a draw on Sunday at home to Sporting and are unbeaten in three at the beginning of the season there and they finished fifth last year.

Interesting for our Afghan sixes bet, they won the toss and put India in.

Paddy Power obv think this is bad for us (India will have the full 20 overs to hit in) and have gone 17/2 on Afghans, with India 1/12. Hills are 7/2 and 1/3.

Hopefully one of the Indian openers does something rash to get Kohli to the creast.  I'm looking at you Mr Sehwag.

Sehwag gone - good stuff.

Yuvrag in - he's a big danger if he gets going.

Afganistan are bang in this game.  Exciting stuff.  These two at the crease are crucial for India.

Kohli out for 50.  Solid enough start I suppose in the golden bat race.
