The talk from all the journos in Ahmedabad is the track is a dust bowl
All the talk of 5 of the last 7 tests at Ahmedabad being a draw is correct, but the Indians definitely think they have a huge edge with Ashwin and Ojha and definitely aren't preparing a totally flat one, which they would do if facing Murali, Warne and the like during those past seven games
For thread, India need to win the toss and bat
For England fans, pray they win the toss

eg
John Etheridge @JohnSunCricket
Nobody knows how newly-laid Ahmedabad pitch will play. More cracks tday than yest. Suspect good for 2 days then increasing turn. Huge toss.

Don't think thread is on the first test result. Now 2.4.

Any views on spain to win both halves tonight at 11/8? I know its an international friendly, however i feel like this is a decent price. Spain are 4/5 to score in both halves, I think if they score in both halves then they'll win both halves and therefore the 11/8 to win both halves seems value to me.

Blimey, news travels fast.
Where did you find that? Twitter?
I am up in Head Office today, where that photo was taken at around 1pm, I then went into a Meeting, & when I emerged that photo was all over the place!
I now face a 5 hour drive home, hopefully in time for the TfT action tonight.
We are NOT on the First Test yet, though we probably will be. I kow the price is moving south, but I'm awaiting late info on the pitch & stuff before plunging. Or not.

i am going against the grain here for the england series
a lot is being made about india's spin laden attack
ashwin now seems to be a superstar something his record doesnt support he is a good international bowler but bowls a lot of 4 balls and nowhere near Warne, murali, ajmal, or even dare i say it a swann for changing a game at this level.
i am firmly against india in the first test and have the low scoring series results (1-0 either way and 1-1) as decent winners in my book

Ojha is terrific! Was good in CC in 11 and better now. Rate him highly
I see India having a spin duo as being a big advantage, as we can't pick Monty due to length of tail concerns
Swann and No DRS is also a concern, as so many decisions would go his way on replay from indrift and flight. More of a problem for him than Ashwin who can send it both ways
Should be fun, starts at 4am tomorrow.
Sky are commentating from an Osterley studio.

Wow @ Ibrahimovic, just wow. I want to marry him.
Trust me to be offline all day, too, when reds strongly tipped Sweden to win this. Hope plenty of you got on.

Going to preface this with the fact I am genuinely awful on international football and am a long term losing punter. Two years ago I made the decision not to bet on it anymore outside of exceptional circumstances. I think tonights England game is excpetional circumstances though. This is a big game for Sweden. It is the opening of their national stadium and the game is a big deal for them. It isnt for England. If anything it is a major inconvenience for England and I think that will reflect in the general attitude of the players. I think 2.60 on Betfair is too big about Sweden given the differing motivations.
wd reds, liked this

Good call Redarmi.
What about Ibra's goal, frightening.
He's answered a few critic's in England tonight, bullied them.
