Anderson bowls Sehwag first over with a straight nip backer

Game. On.!

Yes!

More of the same please.

The 2/1 England did not last long - as low as 5/4 in 2 spots now.

Sehwag out for 0 virtually seals the Pujara bet, as well

A £100 NBA winner overnight, & all components of our 4th Test bets are in good shape.

Might just be a good day today.

Brilliant sight watching middle pole dislodged and a danger man stumbling back to the hutch.

England have now eased to 7/4.

I really don't understand that.

I really don't understand that.

Lonnnng way to go before we know whether England are 5/4 favourites. No one has got out to an unplayable delivery so if the batsmen dig in, they could be 150-3 at close and suddenly England could be effectively batting last on this wicket.

I really don't understand that.

I don't either

It shouldn't be a draw as the pitch by the weekend should be quite tough to hold out on.

Of the two other results, the only way India are ahead of England is if they get a comfortable (50 run plus) first innings lead

That will take them to early day 4, and they have already lost their most aggressive batsmen

I price it, fwiw, England 5/4 India 5/2 Draw 2/1

Daily Report as at 0850, Friday 14th December

We made exactly £100 profit yesterday.

One bet completed, one bet won. Optimal efficiency.

What was beginning to look like an October-style December is turning round nicely, & we might yet get out of the fairly large hole we were in. What a thing variance is, especially when the edges are so small.

Spring Onions need to be used sparingly, but the £100 winner was TL900’s third straight winning bet, for a £200 profit, so I think he gets the onions. Very well done Tom. Definitely the first time we have backed three straight NBA winners, for sure.

Is there any way we can set an alert for particular posters? I am missing out on bundles by not seeing Mr Tom Langley's posts, text or PM would also work. Thanks.

Morning Milli.

Not that I am aware of. You just have to monitor the thread, really.

TfT missed last week's UFC winner so I have another one for tomorrow evening (please note Friday evening, not the regular Saturday).

The most recent Ultimate Fighter series culminates tomorrow evening with the finals taking place on the UFC on FX 6 card. The Ultimate Fighter is a reality TV program where the fighters are split into two teams and eat, sleep and train together for 6 weeks whilst fighting in a tournament until there are only two fighters remaining to contest the final. This season was called "The Smashes" and featured fighters from the UK taking on Team Australia. In the lightweight tournament two Brits have made it to the final and I think we are presented with a nice bet on this fight. The format allows the viewer to get an insight into largely unknown fighters and allows us to find some good value bets as bookmakers aren't always fully "clued up".

"Stormin" Norman Parke (16-2) from Northern Ireland is the slight underdog in the final and he is the bet to make. He takes on the very likeable, and also very talented, Colin "Freakshow" Fletcher (8-1). Parke is the better all round fighter, he has good wrestling and BJJ with a controlling top game. Fletcher is a tall and long character but Parke will have trained for that and in his semi-final Fletcher was tagged on occasion by a much smaller opponent. Parke is much better than Fletcher's opponent that day. Parke will mix it up standing just as long as he needs to to be able to put Fletcher up against the cage and work the takedowns. Fletcher is dangerous on the ground with his long limbs but Parke is a skilled ground fighter and should be clever enough to avoid the sunmission. Parke wins by decision IMO.

Every bookmaker has Fletcher the favourite with Ladbrokes going 8/13 Fletcher and 6/5 Parke. I'd have those prices the other way around.

Suggest £40 on Norman Parke @ 6/5 with Ladbrokes.

It pains me, but we're betting against this hero.....

Morning Advent Calender Bloke.

I missed a nadge of price, but we have proceeded anyway.

We have £40 with Ladbrokes @ 11/10, Parke to beat Fletcher.
