I think we should take £150 when someone goes Evens Taylor.

OK Bazza, we will, down you you.

Thanks.

I'll keep an eye on the market, & dive in if PT touches Evens.

That will save me having an off-thread saver, too.

You can have an even £150 with me Tony for the thread if you want ?

Tony when you log in to BSq and find the page with your market you will see the maximum bet displayed on there. It might have been £19 possibly.

No sport today Mr T? You don't look hard enough. I have had a nice tennis coup already this morning in a new stereotype market. I bet against the large female tennis player as I thought she would have eaten a lot over the Xmas holidays and not be very fit. She was playing against a Swedish player who as we all know would only have eaten some fish. A quick 2 sets to 0 victory and a 3-1 winner. Stereotype betting FTW.

Brilliant!

Do you think Taylor will win?

Yes. That is what my head says, anyway. My heart, not so much.

Thanks Jim.

Booked.

We have £150 @ Evens, Phil Taylor to win the PDC, with Lucky Jim Bookmakers.

If you PM me your Bank Details, I will ship it across, or I can give you cash at DTD this weekend. Given my memory issues, which you of all people will remember, Bank TX may be safer........

This £150 bet is owned by Bazzaboy.

Settle up one way or another after the event.

It's been great watching the darts knowing so many Blondes have an interest.

To be honest I reckon Julian Dicks is a good fav to win it.

You could visibly see Taylor shaking last night and after last nights shenanigans the
crowd may well turn against him. He was moaning about whistlers in the crowd with
one or two getting ejected and he certainly didn't endear himself to Joe Public with
his attitude.

The NFC Play-offs

To give some context to The Camel's bets

The Play off seedings are as follows

1 Falcons

2 49ers

3 Packers

4 Redskins

5 Seattle

6 Vikings

The game last night that saw the Vikings and Peterson, notably, beat the Packers was huge for the thread as with the 49ers win it gave them the second seed.

This gives them a bye week, and then a home game in the Divisional round of the play offs

The Wild Card weekend sees

Seattle at Redskins

Vikings at Packers

Atlanta and 49ers host the two winners, with Atlanta hosting the lowest rank seed to qualify

So, the 49ers are probably favourites to host the Packers but if the Vikings win they will host the winner of the Seattle/Redskins game

Personally (and helped by the cornerbacks both being available) the Seahawks might well beat the Redskins and could easily beat Atlanta.....

the NFC odds have the 49ers as favourites

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/nfc/winner

the Superbowl is an interesting market. I think the NFC is a far stronger conference, yet the 49ers are third favourites behind two AFC teams

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/superbowl/winner

Denver are probably justified favourites. Home advantage in their playoffs at altitude is huge, but personally I think the 49ers are a better team than the Patriots or any other AFC team

The Superbowl itself is in a dome in New Orleans and were San Fran to get there they would be no worse than even money in my opinion against any AFC team

Hope that helps

That's Kaia Kanepi who is Estonian.

If hector is referring to the Stosur/Arvidsson clash (which seems to fit his criteria) then I'd suggest it was flawed logic. Ms. Stosur treats her body like a temple whilst Ms. Arvidsson has a rather pleasing fuller figure. Of the two, I would be confident that Ms. Arvidsson enjoyed the less austere festive period.

Nice win, anyway. Smiley

Just back from weekly Hospital visit and was listening to Talksport.

Taylor came on and said he was ashamed at his conduct. Basically he said we was under the weather and dead on his feet. Barney shook his hand too hard and grabbed Taylor round the neck which Taylor and hurt Taylors neck.

Taylor claimed if he had felt ok he wouldnt have blinked but as he was feeling so poor he lost his rag.

Horses mouth stuff, but who knows!

Exactly that Jim, good for morale, or as so many keep jarringly spelling it over on the poker boards, moral.

Thanks, we will settle up after the event.

I missed the chance to post about the Plague and the Great Fire of London a page later. The only thing I know that happened in 1667 will have to do.

Paradise Lost took John Milton five years to write but wasn't published until four years later in 1667. He had been rendered completely blind by 1652 so had to dictate the whole thing. During this time, his second wife died, as did their infant son, he was chronically ill with all sorts of maladies and that the collection of 10 poems (later edited to 12) that make the book was published at all is little short of miraculous.
