Hi Tikay, good luck with all the tips you get in the new year.
That spread sheet set up looked pretty good to me , would that be accessible for anyone to download the template?

Thank you.

Yes, it took me a few minutes to design and set up the spready, but it was time well spent. *

Can you download the template? I don't see why not. Mere is usually exceedingly helpful in such matters, if you drop him a PM, I am sure he will be most helpful, as long as he is not in one of his grumpy moods.

* I may have fibbed a bit there.

Thanks for the kind comments.
The spreadsheet can be downloaded by anyone.
Just click on "File" and select "Download as" from the drop down list. This will allow you to download the sheet in your preferred format.

I'm always happy to receive comments or suggestions for improvements.

As tikay says, if anyone wants any more information, just PM me. I don't quite have tikay's expertise in these matters but I should be able to provide some assistance.

Sad news. TMS stalwart CMJ passed away peacefully this morning.

RIP

Very shocked and saddened to have just read this......one of the great voices of cricket.

Heck of a coup and a truly great tip if MVG wins tonight - should be a great sweat and sweet win on a number of levels.

It will be amazing if he can, yes.

Some are on as high as 80/1 & 100/1, others have many thousands to come if it gets home, some have hedged & win both ways.

Hedging excepted, hardly anyone here is on the x-ty times World Champ tonight!

Good luck to everyone on the darts coup.

If I knew a bit more about the game I would have got on.

What a start to the year it would be.

Happy New Year Tikay Tipsters.

In an effort to get involved, ie the only sport I have any edge in, I would like for the collective to see if we can put together a small portfolio for Cheltenham.

As the MVG and 49ers bets have proven, if we can get some decent price ante post vouchers on the go, then you get plenty of mileage from them regardless, as the weekly updates cause pleasure or pain.

Can I suggest over the next couple of days we canvass opinion on peoples bankers and longshots(with thought process or inside knowledge), and reconvene at the end of the week and maybe put together a couple of small trixies or yankees that we can then sweat over the next 2.5 months?

What does our sponsor think?

Sounds fun but we have to make a few guesses as to which races some of the horses will be running in: Gold Cup/RSA etc.

Sheffield keeper brings down the Doncaster player, who has taken it past him, yellow card. Unbelievable thank god the penalty went in

Happy New Year, & especially a healthy one, to you too, Daz.

If by "sponsor" you mean me, yes, like that a lot.

We get so much fun, & mileage, in the long-running bets. Barnet is a great example, even though, unlike Barnet, it went down, ditto MVG, ditto 49-ers, likewise some of the Cricket bets we had on the India England (proper) Test matches.

We exchange the short-priced daily bets for long-priced stuff, the fortunes of which ebbs & flows, & the inherent risk of non-runners or wrong race selected. Most of all though, the thread craic is top notch.

We have, as well as yourself, some shrewd horse racing judges amongst us, too.

Let's do it.

Good stuff, here comes another sweat.

I gather Watford lost 4-3 at home to Charlton today. Well hard to make a profit in the Championship betting market.
