Been distracted elsewhere, so I missed the Spurs stuff and don't quite know where we are now, so to speak.

Will look at TGB shortly, my head is all over the place today, with blondepoker matters.

I think our old mate The Giant Bolster is quite a good bet to win the Denman Chase at Newbury in a field that lacks depth. Obvioulsy with it being 8.0 on Betfair then 7/1 1/4 1,2,3 with B365 is an amazing bet for those who can get on and don't care about protecting their account.

Thanks Neil.

I missed the Spurs Newcastle party, so I thought I'd get on this.

They all go 1/5 odds, EXCEPT Bet365, & Bet365 allowed me......£4.28 EW. Anyway, may as well take it.

We have £4 EW, TGB, Denman Chase, Newbury, with Bet365.

ON

1  The Giant Bolster    2.25 Newbury
Win and Each Way  09/02/2013  7/1  3 Places
1/4 Odds  To Run
Unit Stake 4.00  EW Single Stake 8.00
Total Stake  8.00

I noticed that Bet365 had refunded someone on the Botha fight.

We bet it with BetVictor, so I just checked the account - they also VOIDED the bet.

Almost feels like a winner!

Whilst I had "My Account" open at BetVictor, I thought I'd check if the Splash Bet had been settled yet.

 13/01/2013 GBP 50.00 Single: YES @ 2/1 Returns: £150.00

Wow, we are having a good morning!

The Tighty Sixes bet won by a distance, the Botha bet got voided, & the Splash bet has been paid out.

Kudos to BV, I've had no joy getting my stake back from WH yet.

No joy from SkyBet either, they are point blank refusing to void the bet.

After a few hassling emails SkyBet have grudgingly agreed to credit my account with a free bet to the stake amount. Not as good as a void but better than nothing. Shame they're not as concerned with customer goodwill as BV and 365!

You'd be ok backing TGB ew at 7/1 with Lads, Hills or even Spoilsports. I wouldn't actually mind backing it win only. It's not just an ew burgle for me.

Thanks Neil.

Details later, but we have had £10 win @ 7/1 with Cyril Stein.

(I meant to say you'd be ok backing it ew with those at a 1/5th. It's around 2.14 a place on Betfair. I've backed it win only just because that was all I could get right now).

Ha, typical misread by me.

I really like Conti for the Gold Cup. Today's race has done nothing to dissuade me he'll be worth cheering up the hill
