Can someone please tell me why Cheltenham are such a big price vs Aldershot tomorrow.

Are they missing loads of players?

Based on season long and recent form, the evens seems too good to be true

I haven't checked team news yet, but I have a friend who is a big Shots fan, goes to 95% of games home and away, and he was saying they are very close to turning the corner.

Performances in the last 6 weeks have been a massive improvement.

when i put up cheltenham last week it was mainly because of paul benson

well he did not play very well last saturday but scored and was a class apart in midweek he has also got the other strikers fighting for there spot as well

i have backed them again this week but only very small

I was at Morecambe v Aldershot on tuesday night.

Not pretty, Aldershot, to me, could go.

They played Asa Hall on loan from Shrewsbury behind Danny Hylton, with Vincenti & Cadogan wide, with Rose & Risser sitting.

Now, Hylton is decent, the wide men ok, and Asa Hall should be fine, but thought Rose & Risser were poor.

Defence looked ok I suppose, but Morecambe created more and they are not a particualrly decent side having lost 0-3 at home v Exeter 3 days earlier.

I was a backer of 'shots pre-seaon on the handicaps, got that badly wrong.

Barnet have signed 4 players in the last 48 hours too.

Holdsworth, flat cap and sharp suit on the touchline stood there shaking his head for most of the game.

Is this was an improvement they must have been d*gsh*t for the last 6 months.

That said, the league is so close from top to bottom it would not surprise me if they went to Cheltenham and won.

Would prefer to back the EVS than lay it but not massively so.

Dwayne, McGlashan apart Cheltenham are a big team, they bully sides and play quite direct

How are Aldershot physically, do you think, against that style?

Cheltenham are sounding like a bet to me.

They were a pretty big side to be fair, Bradley on loan from Hull is big lump, about 6' 5'' but they did conceed the 1st from a corner.

Riiser CM 6' 2'' and Vincenti, Hylton, Brown all over 6 at a guess.

I saw Cheltenham on Tuesday night against Southend. As Tighty said, they play very direct and physically - but total football it is not!!

Anybody watching Bingham v Docherty? Don't think I've ever seen such a poor match, both seem to have absolutely crumbled.

Jon Lewis Dickinson v David Dolan

They fight tonight for the British Cruiserweight title.  They fought 18months ago and JLD won on points (97-94), since then JLD has definitely progressed winning the English title followed by the British title.  Dolan's best days are probably behind him and I see JLD winning this more comfortably this time.  JLD is not a big puncher though only stopping 3 out of 12 and is content to use his jab and fight at range.  The 3 he has stopped had all been stopped before, two of them multiple times so they were fragile. Dolan has been down but never been stopped (retired once due to injury) in his 4 defeats.  This has all the hallmarks of a one sided 12 rounder and I'd expect JLD to win something like 118-110 on the cards. Injuries are probably our biggest danger here as both have had issues in that department in the past but 11/10 for a JLD unanimous decision(Ladbrokes under the Final Judgement tab) is too big.  It should be odds on. Rec £50.

It's on Sky channel 200 tonight at 2130 if anyone is interested.

When Mereauditor has finished checking my inputting & formulas, our £500+ profit this month will probably prove to be a loss.

I've listened to all the Eurovision entries already decided upon, but don't think I've come across the winner yet. There's a lot of clubby shite this year, for which I hold Loreen responsible.

A mate told a mate that he thought Denmark was a certainty but I can't have it.

Germany are in from 20-1 to around half the price after Cascada were chosen to rep them last night, but it's an ordinary song.

Diane Vickers to sing for the UK? Good game again then.
