i can only compare tommorows rush to get on long run in the shops to the scene from chitty chitty bang bang when the childcatchers ice cream van rolls into town

Yikes, there's a 'filthy' on the thread!

Tbh, I have no problem with arbers David, but isn't it ultimately a bit of a soulless pursuit? Do many people mistake you for Rob Garfield?

Anyway chomps can you start doing some footy research please, I need some more random player to score bets, they'll win even if they don't you know.

Only just got round to looking and...

Daniel Swanson has taken over Boydy's spot on the left and was very unlucky not to bang one in at Blackburm. He's had a light season and also looked very sharp when coming on in the previous match.

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't start and the 7/1, 8/1 any time layers are wrong. Baldfred go 3/1.

25/1 to score first is also crazy.

Rec £10 @ 8/1 to score any time and £5 @ 25/1 to score first.

£10 x 8 = 80.

£5 x 25 = 125

80 + 125 = 205.

Groan......

Well done Chompy.

The late change of plan at work, combined with Fred's busiest day ever, plus my memory failure cost us over £200.  Hopefully your devotees got on.

Got put away & told you today's Hills bet was Dynaste, sorry about that.

Do quite like Long Run at 10/1. Think we should back it each-way at the price rather than win only.

No worries Neil, it was Jezki, & we got on.

At 9am sharp, I'll try & get on Long Run @ 10/1 with Hills, but I have a feeling they will not allow me EW.

Norrrr, say it ain't so! Can I have this rebuff result added to my career stats please?

Shambolic lack of research by me on the Robin Stjernberg situation...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melodifestivalen_2013

For anyone that's backed Sweden, though, whoever gets through Melodifestivalen will have a good chance in the ESC. They have some decent songs in there relative to the rest of the garbage in this year.

Today's William Hill Priority Offer - RULING Required

They are offering Jezki @ 7/1.

Jezki is on offer across the Board elsewhere at between 100/30 & 5/1.

http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/cheltenham-festival/supreme-novices-hurdle/winner

I have no idea what prospect Jezki has, but given the price disparity, it seemed a must bet.

In anticipation of someone suggesting the bet, I tried for £30, & got this message.....

The following offer is on your requested bet:
12th Mar 2013 - William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle - Jezki
£20.00 @ 7/1 Estimated Returns: £160.00
We can give you an additional offer of:
12th Mar 2013 - William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle - Jezki
£10.00 @ 5/1 Estimated Returns: £60.00

So, I have taken £20 @ 7/1. I declined the additional £10 @ 5/1.

Note we already have £20 @ 8/1, down to Ralph.

I think, if we generally agree, that the additional £20 @ 7/1 should be booked to Ralph, as he originally gave that horse.

This is the BetSlip, which I will keep off-thread if we think that is the right & proper route.

11 Mar 2013 - 12th Mar 2013 - William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle - Outright

Jezki  @ 7/1

Stake : £20.00
Estimated Returns : £160.00Transaction Reference:O/0457483/0000287/F

I'm quite happy to keep the bet off-thread if need be.

Nobody replied to this, so it is NOT a Fred bet as yet. I don't think Ralph was Online yesterday, & nobody else demurrred or approved.

I'll take it Off-Thread later today if it is not accepted/claimed.

Bleurgh.

Sadly, your Recommend never mentioned the name of the Teams involved, or the date of the game, so I should really disqualify your suggestion.

On balance though, yes, you are right, I will add the £205 profit to your career rebuffs. Your hypothetical losses are now less than £1,000.

And as penance, I suppose I now have to go & bet that bloody stupid Eurotrash song thing. THAT is the worst part.

So Mr Kendall, welcome aboard, how did you spend the autumn of your life, usefully I hope?

Oh yes Dear God, I punted Celeb Big Brother & Eurovision stuff.

You what? Get your arse down to the hot place, we don't need your sorts up here.

Don't forget the Betfred freebet offer.

Thanks H.

If you mean for the Man U game, I was unavailable so could not get involved.

We DO have a £10 Free Bet to our Credit with Betfred for Cheltenham, though.

These Priority Offers are an Admin nightmare, & we are going to get in a right mess if we are not careful.

One assumes that Hills - & others - will be popping up with offers every day between now & Tuesday, & then through to Friday.

The Wm Hill ones alone are (say) £30 a day invested. The prices mean we have to do them, but it really makes it awkward as to who owns the bets.

I presume most of the time they're going to be value, I recall Trigg saying that he felt Hills had just had one over by getting people to back at the correct price with the 3/1 on Hurricane Fly, but unfortunately I had already piled in on my ice cream account Sad

Is it easy to just credit them to the person who points them out, but wait for confirmation from someone like horsey, Neil, Chompy or Keith if it is someone like me that posts it up?

It is awkward, they are all perceived value, so I think we have to do them.

I'm not sure that suggestion of who to allocate them to works though.

If, say, horsey FIRST mentioned them, (I think he did) & they now repeat daily, do we allocate them all to him? Call it, say, 10 or 12 bets @ £30 a time? I'm not sure that feels right somehow.

Maybe we should have a "Miscellaneous" Tipster, a cover-all for these situations?

The Wm Hill PO for yesterday (Jezki) remains an orphan at present, & we'll be getting in a right mess if we are not careful.

At 9am today, there'll be another one, too, rinse repeat every day for the next week or so.

i think they should just be seperate

as you say the majority of the time they are no brainer bets so as such there is no particular skill in spotting them

In this case, where there are so many in such a short space of time, yup. (Which, I suppose, brings us back to Camel's Post a few days ago).

But regulars need an incentive to make us aware of them, & if they don't get the credit for them, they'll stop putting them up, & everyone misses out.
