Four Australians dropped for the 3rd Indian test in Mohali on the 18th.

They were asked to fill in a form for feedback on ways to improve (bat better, bowl better, hold catches?), failed to do so and dropped

Shane Watson
Pattinson and Johnson
Khawaja

Watson has left in a huff (time to fill in a form, Indian Departure visa)

Watson the best batsman Clarke aside, Pattinson the best quick bowler

aussies down to two quicks in the squad for next week, Starc and Siddle, in Mohali

With team spirit in disarray, already 2-0 down, thread has to take India at Evens while it can

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/india-v-australia/test-series/india-v-australia-%5B3rd-test%5D/winner

Recommendation India at Evens chunkyville

Bet365 are the only evens left, so has to be left for thread if it cannot get on

Betfair currently going at 6/5 if you are quick!

It's a very nice song, possibly too good for Eurovision. It threatens a bigger finish than it provides. Also, they haven't even made the final for nine years.

Netherlands were 33/1 before the song was announced - now best 16/1, though as short as 9.

It's not a bet for me right now.

Just for you stato's:

Stats365 has a projected end of Season table created by adding the number of points still to be gained on current form to the actual number of points. On that basis, these are the final positions:

Cardiff City 89.7
Watford 84.9
------------------------
Crystal Palace 83.9
Hull City 83.0
Bolton Wanderers 76.5
Nottingham Forest 75.0
-----------------------
Brighton 73.0
Leicester City 68.0
Leeds United 63.0
Middlesbrough 61.2
Sheffield Wednesday 60.0
Birmingham City 59.5
Barnsley 56.7
Charlton Athletic 56.0
Blackpool 55.9
Blackburn Rovers 55.0
Burnley 55.0
Ipswich Town 54.7
Huddersfield Town 53.0
Peterborough United 53.0
Bristol City 50.7
----------------------------------
Derby County 49.5
Millwall 47.3
Wolverhampton 45.3
I love stats. Interesting that Bolton are projected to make the playoffs. Absolute form team in the division, still 10/1 on Laddies for promotion, best price by quite a bit, generally 6/1. As with Walsall, maybe time to reverse banzai!

Interesting, Leeds to gain 12 points from 10 remaining games, where 6 at home and only 2 of the 10 from top 8 teams.

I backed Millwall at long odds for relegation when they beat Leeds and were on run of 5-6 wins, utterly poor team and I do hope the final table for them rings true lol

Forest should have got in Billy Davies a long time ago, there is a video of him on the bbc website where it follows him around for a few weeks, abs. top draw stuff and great at turning the team around.

Chompy, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath fame has written Armenia's entry. Currently 20/1.

Any thoughts?

Newbury Racecourse's Best Dressed Gent. And What?

Afternoon Teeks.

Just a brief update on my Cheltenham tips Fred has got on:

Irish Saint - Won't run in the Triumph so the stake you've had on shall be refunded as a free bet on the day of the race (Friday). I believe it has a 24hr expiry so Fred will make best use of it by popping it on something on Friday Wink

Albertas Run - Conditions going very much against the horse as infinitely better on good spring ground. On at 25s we're ahead of the market but, unless the boy likes it a bit softer in his old age, I fancy the market flatters to deceive.

Pont Alexandre - Fred has £80 at c15/8, which it has taken with a view to trade. Hold fire for now - the price has ever so slightly contracted but to get value from our position I would be looking to trade out closer to race time - I will update on day accordingly.

I really like this song, been playing it on a loop for a while.  Far to good for this competition imo.  Is it not a little to ballad'y to win Eurovision?  Just so you know my knowledge of Eurovision is limited, and on the night, my viewing consists of the occassional flick to the channel every hour, and then 5mins from the end to see the winners song.

Apparently, he has done a lot of charity work in Armenia and someone over there asked him whether he fancied penning a song for them.

If the artist turns out to be O. Osbornian, the Sweden bet might have a problem.

Obviously at 1/4 1,2,3,4,5 in a 12-runner race with two 1000/1 shots and a rumour that River Mague might not go, it's impossible to have a -ev each-way bet. I like a few of them more than the others and Puffin Billy would be one of my few. Hills are 11/1 which means you are taking 11/4 on the place when it's 10/3 on Betfair. You are giving up a bit on the win too, as it's 15/1.

Does anyone know if the offer is going to be there until they race now? It certainly looks like it is. If it is we should bet the horses on the show when WillHill can't reduce the price of every runner. If it takes half an hour for BillyHills to lay you a tenner on an 8/13 shot then bet sp in the morning and get a few shops done.
