If anybody did have a bet on the chess today, I should just let you know:
1. The 13/1 shot, Anand, was never in any real danger against Kramnik, where both went for the win and it ended with Kramnik deciding to force a draw. Definitely a Sklansky Dollars job.
2. Aronian v Adams (1.952 for the draw) was a frightfully complicated game, which the computers rather cheekily declared Adams had an overwhelming advantage (cheekily because computers have the ability to assess positions in ways even these players can't). It is still a game where all three results are possible, but a draw is the most likely outcome.

Ahh, I had meant to get on them. Bugger. I think.

Can barely believe (ignoring our bets completely) that Man Utd are generally 12/5 to win at Arsenal.
Arsenal now 13/10 in several spots.
As to our lay at 2.12, it is now 2.26.

It is reported that QPR and Reading are relegated.
If QPR win all remaining games, are even Reading for that matter, can't they finish above Aston Villa mathematically?
What am I missing?!
17 Aston Villa 34 -27 34
18 Wigan 34 -23 32
19 QPR 35 -27 25
20 Reading 35 -28 25
Lol, I spotted it. Silly me.

3 if you include his hair.
Which I always do.
Just be happy you'll finish above us again and make Fred a few bob. We'll have to find something else to wind each other about over the summer.
Are you an Aussie?

Aronian and Adams did draw in the end, so Fred missed out on a soupçon of profit. £4.95ish.
I imagine Fred will be able to deal with that and move on

Edit: tikay's diary is your friend if you have no idea what I'm mumbling about. On this issue. If you never know what I'm mumbling on about, that's probably more my problem.
