Got another very interesting one with Sid James ante-post for the St Le
d
ger. Perhaps Fred can use a Fred member with a Sid account?
"Telescope bypasses Dante
10th May 2013
Telescope, who suffered a minor infection and missed the Betfred Dante Stakes at York last week, will attempt to get his Investec Derby bid back on track when Britain’s leading hope for the Classic gallops at Newmarket on Sunday. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained colt, who is a best-priced 8-1 for the Derby, has not been seen since winning a mile maiden in September having been forced to miss the Classic trial after he grazed his legs in a horsebox. Sir Michael has been pleased with the horse at home since and if he comes through his gallop on Sunday it is likely that he will be sent for a racecourse gallop in the next week."
He's just had that gallop and was apparently very impressive. He's now being tightened up for the Derby, at around 6/1.
This is another price that doesn't make sense. He's 6/1 for the Derby, despite a crappy preparation, but is 14/1 for the Leger. His pedigree is pure stamina.
Recommend £20 @ 14/1 for the Leger
Thanks Mr W.
If I can find a way of getting on, we will do so.
PS - owe you two PM replies, will do both tomorrow morning, am a bit behind with PM's at the mo, but the answer will, as always, be "yes please". Even a stopped clock and all that......
I'll get you on, Sid won't ever close me down until they get all that Reading Championship money back from last year

Glglgl sir, I got limited to £14.50.
And
I'm a lifetime loser with them. They're obv full up. Wish they'd just cut the price to 10/1 or whatever and take a decent bet.
Really like this one. Highclere's most expensive buy ever and no doubt Stoutey is under pressure to run in a Classic. But he won't run him in the Derby unless he's 100% happy. In that case I'd expect a Royal Ascot-York-Doncaster plan.

Arsenal lead.......
If current scores held, would they finish above Chelsea?

I gather it was a fairly large upset that they were there, even bigger that they've actually gone up.
I'm sure that the championship teams are all happy with the result though

The Semi Final Live Up for the IPL is set
Mumbai
Chennai
Rajastan
Sunrisers
Sunrisers Hyderabad won today to knock out Bangalore, Chris Gayle, Kohli and De Villiers et al which is excellent news for the remaining teams
The format now is as follows:
On Tuesday the top two teams Mumbai and Chennai play. The winner, Rugby League Super League style, gets straight through to the final
The losers go to play the winner of Rajastan v Sunrisers.
All are on neutral grounds
Mumbai are by some distance the best bowling side in the competition with Malinga, Harbhajan, Ojha all pre-eminent performers
Chennai are by some distance the best batting side, with Dhoni the best finisher
Rajastan and Sunrisers are both over-achievers, beating more vaulted opponents on teamwork and consistency
Anyone can win it from here but the winner of Mumbai/Chennai will be strong favourites, as they will make the final rested and on a game less play.
We have £20 Mumbai at 5-1
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/indian-premier-league/winner
Mumbai and Chennai are now 6-4 joint favourites
Tuesday is a big day for this bet.

Good morning all
Are we sitting comfortably?
Then let us begin
Chelsea and arsenal both to win. Need Chelsea for nice ew treble, as suggested on here, with watford, donny. Happy if arse get third tho.
Peter uilhein to win in Maderia
GMAC to win matchplay
Leishman in states, but effectively dead.
Pepite rose to win at Stratford, and hopefully my old mate Prospect Wells will win on his chasing debut.
Mr Swann needs to pull his finger out in the cricket, and anything else anyone wishes to suggest on here will be followed unless singing is involved.
That concludes the betting from the Cirencester area. Gl
For all my Aftertiming fans.
Not a bad day.
Chelsea finish 3rd, Gooners get CL spot. Magic
Gmac wins, N1 Hector, ty
Peter U does the biz in Madeira

Also invested in the Rugby bet, and mentally written Swann bet off.
Anyway. Won't be "aftertiming" any more, just felt the need to finish by "pretiming" some of my bets, and genuinely sorry that it upset a few out there. Adz

I love the aftertiming, plus I love Arsenal - happy days. I had a goodly amount on Arsenal 1-0 today - regrettably had Per for FGS, so close, don't know why Koscielny got in the way really
