7/2 Torres to score a hattrick with WH, enchanced from 2/1. Reports suggest he starts. Thoughts?
I like it, generally a 2-1 shot and 6-4 in a place.
Nigeria smashed em 6-1, think Spain will get a few more, i've seen handicap quotes of -9 spain.
Think any early quotes of 5-1 might have misjudged how bad Tahiti are and over played Torres being somewhat out of form.
Don't see hardly any downside to this bet. Plus if he doesn't start bet is void.
Worth a punt upto £50?
Sounds a good amount.

i am really not trying to be a killyjoy but £50 on torres to score a hat trick seems excessive
nothing to do with the player all to do with the odds
cue him scoring 6

Wasn't reccing for the thread mate was just replying to scotty and then aaron tbh.
I certainly don't think it's excessive though, I do not think it is a 7-2 shot whatsoever.
People are asking for 4.2 on betfair for this bet.
Best team in world playing a pub team.
I like the chances of their starting centre forward getting 9/10+ goalscoring chances tbh.
1/3rd of em go in and it's chicken dinner.
My main bet will be torres ew fgs at 2's should he start.

my one worry is that Spain over the past two seasons have played a lot of perceived minnows and not beaten the handicap in any of the games
now this lot are a different league in terms of being not very good but these results are worth considering
Puerto Rico 1 Spain 2
Spain 1 China 0
Panama 1 Spain 5
Spain 2 Haiti 1
The goal handicap if anything is starting to look a bit high to me now

According to twitter Spain team is:
Reina, Azpilicueta, Albiol, Sergio Ramos, Monreal, Javi Martínez, Cazorla, Silva, Mata, Villa, Fernando Torres.

Not sure about doing work for the thread, I am the one creating it all. Not to worry, am at the airport on Saturday, so can't do the lunchtime offers.
Will try and post early tonight, and go easy at lunchtime.

KEEP creating it David, it is fantastic stuff, & we all benefit from it.
The whole thread is just getting so big, & busy, & I want to find way that we can keep the momentum going. It's a full time job now! Profitable, too, but not profitable enough to be a "wage" as of yet.
We shall see, I just wanted to throw it out there, as not everyone realises the workload, & I'm especially grateful for Mere's assistance, even though he is such a miserable sod.
PS - See you Sunday!

Yo Rhodesy, hope you are well.
By way of explanation to all those smileys, the matter of Torres scoring a hatful has been endlessly (& sensibly) debated.
The concensus seems to be he has a good chance of scoring 3, but the
value
has been a matter of opinion. There still seems to be much misunderstanding as to
value
.
