2nd Quarter of Wimbledon.

David Ferrer fav to win it but 75s on machine to win title.

Do the tennis bods consider this a back to lay oppo if he is a good thing for the quarter, or does his poor Wimbledon record make this an oppo to take him on in the quarter, possibly even find an even better back to lay proposition?

Poyet was sacked tonight, while doing analysis from the Confed on BBC3. the production team told him, and he had to analyse the game live at H T having just been told!

Gus Poyet: "It's a great story for the BBC. I still have had no communication. I'm probably the 1st for this to happen to on live tv"

some very strange rants from keown during the commentary

lambasted one of the amateur tahiti players for not controlling a high ball (was not easy anyway)

then in the last minute sighed and lamented the lack of effort, and lack of desire to press the ball (93rd minute 0-8 down ball being passed along the back four)


they were physically and mentally done in! 3 games in that short space of time for a team with one professional is not a bad effort
