Hi Mere,

worth considering adding to the Tour de France portfolio.

Finally have Garmin announced their team:

Talansky
Martin
Hesjedal
Navardauskas
Dennis
Danielson
Bauer
Vandevelde
Millar

Exciting & talented squad. Could be a surprise package in mix. Unconventional & aggressive approach with no team leader, but using the options of Hesjedal, Talansky & Martin for a high overall finish.

Betfred are 10/1 in team classification. Worth a fiver. Top four are actually closer than betting suggests imo.

Thanks.

Tsonga out with injury....Cilic out today

Both were Murray's potential Quarter final opponents, those two were seeded to play each other in the Round of 16

Lots of problems with these courts....

It just seems so slippy out there on a lot of courts.

Opening up both draws a treat, completely unpredictable for betting purposes though

Uruguay at up to 8/1 to beat Brazil, given recent games between the two, and the Uruguay firepower, is that value or can it be ignored?

I think it's value but I'm on Uruguay since pre tourney so I may be biased.

Someone short who is light on their feet.
David Ferrer?

I suspect that the grass will have dried out by week two which should reduce the random factor.

Best 15/2 now which still seems big to me but I know nothing about football.

The second sentence is the one for me. All this seems to do is increase the chance that Djok or Fed will win, as these are the guys who are most likely to cruise through their opening week. Murray on slippery surfaces is an accident waiting to happen and although he might well be fine, you'd be watching him through your fingers and I doubt there's a bookie pricing him up as value.

The gentlemen in the audience rush to the bar for a stiff drink and a splash of cold water.

view from the press box at the Ageas

boundaries don't look short but so far as I can tell the pitch is fresh, so should have bounce/carry

mixed news for sixes i'd say

BetFred are going 5/2 Neymar to score at anytime vs Uruguay. Best elsewhere is 11/10. Don't know how long they're holding it for.

In relation to the squeals, I heard a joke;

Looks short enough straight and cow corner furthest point of pic for right hander. Defo think over 7.5@5/6 is a bet if pitch isn't a low turner
