I will confirm the details of the Celtic FGS bets shortly, but Paddy Power is offline, undergoing scheduled maintenance, until 0730, & so I cannot access the details at present.

Celtic should run up 5 or 6 at home to Cliftonville tonight in the Champions League 2nd Qualifying round it  Cliftonville are very poor looks an ideal opportunity to take advantage of Bet365 FGS ew market.

Celtic are playing the same line up as the first leg Hooper doesnt start, neither doesWatt or Balde so suggest backing Samaras at 3/1, Stokes 10/3, Commons 4/1 and Forrest at 6/1 for around £40 ew with savers on Lustig and Brown.

£40 EW on all of them?

And how much (and win or EW) on the two savers, please?

Yes, Celtic shouldn't be playing in this round frankly, full strength team against part timers more interested in taking pics and getting autographs.   365 are best price on the 4 recommends, Brown takes pens and Lustig is the only other one I can see scoring.

I'd be stunned if we dont score at least 5 tonight.

£15 ew savers, go on its been a quiet day Smiley

Sorry, we got strangled by PP and Bet365 Restrictions, and was only able to get £5 EW on the first 4.

Details to follow later, am pokering at mo.

Thank you!

Daily Report

Profit on Month £235.80

Outstanding Bets £1896.60

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=27

A loss of £7.25 yesterday as the profit from the Man formerly known as the Milkman's Delbonis tennis bet was wiped out by some unsuccessful each-way first goalscorer bets at Celtic v Cliftonville

Elsewhere the Red Sox beat the Rays to tie the 4 match series 1-1 and go 1.5 games ahead again in the AL East

Phil Taylor made the Quarter finals of the World Matchplay darts beating Terry Jenkins. He now plays Justin Pipe. Today MVG, our backstop should the Power decharge, plays the exotically coiffured Peter Wright in the last 16.

We have positions in the Cavan and White matches today

After prevarication, we did the Chompy double yesterday with a Swimming bet now sandwiched between dual Big Brother positions. Life was so much easier under Mr Novice's stewardship.

Good thinking, Tighty. The tipster formerly known as Hector (TTFKAH) could be the way to go.

Can we get an emoticon of a pint of milk that we use instead of actually saying his name?

Hungarian Grand Prix

Plenty of variables here

-  New Tyre specs (2012 construction with 2013 compounds)

- New Pit Lane speed regulations

- Very hot conditions

Testing of the new Pirellis at last week’s Young Driver Test in Silverstone showed that these new tyres degrade less than the ones they are replacing, so – heat permitting – it will lead teams to want to run with as few stops as possible.

This coincides with new safety measures which come in after the incident with a flying wheel in Germany. As a result the pit lane speed limit has been lowered to 80km/h from 100km/h which will add over three seconds to the time needed to make a pit stop. This makes multiple stops less attractive.

With a heatwave in Europe, it could be one of the hottest Grands Prix on record. The forecast is for temperatures around 38-40 degrees

What does this mean?

Its a tight track with one DRS overtaking opportunity. The Mercedes performs badly in hot weather, its rear tyres degrade and it was banned from the Young Drivers Test which Hamilton is quoted as saying was very significant, as it gave them no chance to experiment with these new tyres and their problems at high temperature. Notwithstanding its ability to get on pole with fast one lap pace its reasonable to expect them not to hold on in the race, at these temperatures. In cold weather it might be different.

Red Bull is suited as its a high downforce track. However backing Vettel at 6/4 with this number of variables in this race in particular doesn't strike me as value

Ferrari suffering for pace. Manage their tyres well but no signs of mixing it in practice so as to give them a shot in the race

Which leaves Lotus

Famously able to do less pit stops than the other front runners as the car, aerodynamically, is light on its tyes. With hot weather, new pit regulations penalising those who need to stop more it should give both cars scope to perform well

The circuit and temperatures should suit Lotus, which ran Red Bull very close in Germany (both cars on the podium) and they have to be the close to pre-race favourites if they can qualify in the top two rows of the grid. Raikkonen finished a strong second in Budapest last year behind Lewis Hamilton, despite starting fifth on the grid.

Last year Raikkonen did two stints on the soft, including 25 laps in the second stint, when other cars struggled for 15 laps a set. A repeat of something like this on the new tyres, with each pit stop costing more time than previously, would see Raikkonen very close to winning this

Recommendations

Raikkonen £10 e/w at 6-1 1/5 1,2,3  decent shot at a win with a podium saver

Grosjean £5 ew at 20-1 1/5 1,2,3 podium value

Boylesports, Ladbrokes etc
