Think that is us done for Day One at Gooders.
£90 profit on the first, money back on the next, and. £4 loss in the third.
Most satisfactory.

Hector's suggestion:

Morning Mr T.
Tennis starting soonish. Bedene v Hanescu. These 2 have met once before when Hanescu won in straight sets on a hard court, but both sets were tie breakers. There is little between them but Bedene prefers to play on clay, which today is.
Suggest £15 Bedene @ 7/5 with Betvictor.

This is a good idea
However i think the main issue is (which cant be avoided) is the bet then has to be debated/evaluated before it is actually placed
Obviously it would help anybody who just wanted to follow suggestions blind

re the Defoe suggestion
They sign Soldado?
Soldado scored 24 goals last season in La Liga. All of these were from inside the box (useless fact until now) and he's a fox in the box type....
"He lives on the shoulder of the last defender, possessing an innate ability to perfectly judge the timing of his little darts beyond the centre backs and ghost in unnoticed to score with his head, right foot or, as on a couple of occasions last season, an acrobatic volley."
If they sign Soldado and sell Bale then the likelihood of Soldado or Defoe being top scorer is?
I would be concerned if I backed Defoe that he would be Soldado's understudy, as they essentially fill the same role?

Well, I think there are two sorts of tips on here (in general). The initial suggestions, that are either accepted or not; and the ones that are accepted (so obviously the ones that are accepted are a sub-set of the suggestions). The ones that are accepted are easy to find when scanning through because of the
ON
tikay uses in the acceptance post. So these are already easy to spot?

My thinking is he plays 2 up top, Bale played behind the one striker, he goes 2 up top. If Bale goes price halves.

I don't know
They'd like to sell Adebayor? Soldado could play one up? Adebayor/Soldado is more of a tradtional combo than Defoe/Soldado?
I'm not helping

Bit like Nahki Wells then?

i hate this thread
officially it sucks i just cant keep up with it 5 pages can go up in a cpl of hours and i miss the tips
no really great thread is there any stats on how you are doing since the thread started?
have many bookies restricted your bets?
This is actually a decent point.
I guess we have all missed decent bets amongst all the banter.
How about a Tips for Tikay Lite?
With just bets placed.
Regards
Camel
An interesting point, & one which we will consider.
One problem is Admin, or time - it means quite a lot of extra work for the Bet-Placer, as it has to be Posted twice, on separate threads. Not complaining, as I & others derive great benefit, but time is often a problem, especially when I am busy elsewhere.
It also raises an interesting point, as someone asked on Fred last week for a "recap" of what bets we had on a particular market. Not sure that is right & proper, Fred is a free resource of terrific value bets provided by the Fred contributors, & in gambling, as in life, I think a little effort in return for what (so far) is a guaranteed profit over time is not unreasonable. Just listing the bets we place takes them out of context, completely, too. I know it can be a pain to scroll through several pages, but no pain, no gain. We are victims of the thread's success, fair to say.
Will deffo think it over, though.
I agree with everything Iron said on this and it's simply impossible for most people to follow the thread and read every post. I've learned now not to try, and just go back 5 pages or so (which normally gets you to the start of the current day, unless something is hot) and pick up from there.
However, maybe that's not a bad thing in terms of account security, etc. TfT Lite, or a digest, would make it too easy for anyone, blonde member or not, to pick up the value or follow the trends of the thread without ever feeling the need to contribute (and I say this as someone who has suggested <10 bets in total and had only 1 or 2 of them officially picked up).
I'm not sure how realistic it is that accounts would be identified/restricted as 'TfT' followers, but a digest of placed bets only would surely increase whatever risk there is of this happening.
As one of the intermittent followers who would undoubtedly benefit from such a digest, I say leave as is and encourage us ice-creams to contribute and learn!

Afternoon Mr T.
I don't feel it is needed to amend the way Fred is currently run. One of the aims of this thread is to educate people in how to bet better themselves, and for that to happen people have to read the posts and understand the thinking behind the recommendation. I remember just before Christmas last year you backed a rugby union match yourself to have lots of points, using information you had picked up from this thread- obviously it won.
Rather like " give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish..... "
If people really just want the bets then they can just open up the spready and see them there.
We really should be looking to reduce the workload. Speaking of which we really don't need you to post the slips as proof, we all trust the bets are placed when you say ON. Come on it may save you 3 minutes a day.

Adebayor deal is done with Besiktas...so long as Besiktas are in Europe.
