Tough draw, wanted to avoid notts/hants. Essex big game batsmen owe us one after tonight.

£22 booked.

It's already on so no need to square up unless we lose.

£22 PAID to Henrik777, Bookmaker of Integrity.

BETS FOR THURSDAY

On Hills mobile

2.15 Code of Honor at 4/1 £25 already beats Betfair.
3.45 Wild Coco at 11/10 £25 obvious at the price.

Use a free bet on Altano in the 3.15 at 13/2.  Hills are best price.  It is German, which is good, has run on the soft a few times before, and was eye catching in the Gold Cup.  Having watched that race, I am hoping the jockey had an off day!

We should also be looking at Figure of Speach in the 2.45.  He is a bad price at the moment, but we get best odds guaranteed, so there isn't much risk of getting a terrible price.  I won't be around to tell you to go for it tomorrow.

Karrie Webb to beat Suzann Pettersen @4/5 bet365.

5/11 cuts missed for Pettersen.  Finished 14,24,24,28,32,37 when making cut.

Webb has missed 1/16 cuts. 8 top tens an 11th 14th 15th 22nd 28th 38th and 43rd.

Webb is 7 - 2 and 1 tie in the opens where both played.

Webb has pretty good form recently and Pettersen is a bit up and down 2 missed cuts 3 top 10's.

It's not a gimmie but 4/5 is a bit bigger than it should be given the history.

Cristie Kerr @ 5/6 v Stanfordon Skybet is also worth a punt and Catriona Matthew v Pettersen @4/5 is huge.

Daily Report

I won't repeat the figures, Mere has produced an end of the month report above

A disappointing end to the month with Essex comprehensively turned over at home by Surrey. That's T20 for you, you can bowl reasonably and be in the game and then once you bat badly, there is no way back.

Essex now go to Trent Bridge for the Quarter final next week

Toronado beat Dawn Approach and we had that winner, a free bet on Dawn Approach and e/w on Declaration of war for a win on the race

Excess knowledge was also second for a second free bet on the day, and was backed heavily for the St Leger afterwards

Hughes now leads the Goodwood jockeys winners with 3.

The Rays lost last night and the Red sox won in 15th innings to re-take the elad in the AL East

The Old Trafford Test. Good toss to lose I reckon. Humid, grassy pitch I gather. Should swing, but the winning toss side almost obligated to bat.

We hope Warner plays. We are watching for Jackson Bird to play for evilpengwinz. We would like Clarke to score runs, and Swann to stay in the wickets

Bale looks like he is orf....

Draw drifted all week. 11/10 v 4/1 tho so will probably try and snipe the last 4/1 if they win toss and bat, probably will bet it as low as 7/2. Can't really explain why I fancy it- will probably try and banzai Aussies to lead by 100+, 150+ and 200+ after first innings

Toronado in the foreground beats Dawn Approach

It didn't go according to plan

Only the excellent Napier with the ball and Ten Do with the bat did the business

We hope Warner plays

The Red Sox beat the Mariners with a walkoff HR in the 15th inning..

Assombolonga ready to do the business

Paddy Power refunding stakes on the 15.15.  Mount Athos is a best priced 4/1 with them, so we should put the max on, or £25 if feeling nitty.

We have Express Master running in the semis of the Sussex Cup at Hove tonight, 8:18pm. Much better draw than in the first round and I like his chances of making all in the race.

Its a total conundrum to me. My fav horse in training atm, and I have had my biggest single bet this year, on him last night, but everyone I listen to tells me what I already know, the main target is Melbourne Cup. Does that mean if he is in with a shout Spencer wont flog him...I cant see it. At this level if you have the horse and the prize in sight surely you go for it, and to me he is potentially the best stayer we have by some way. Do trainers really send horses out this quality to the races half cooked when they are top class?

Either way the money is down, nerves are jangling and the nails are getting shorter.....best feeling going!
