Although you could look at it he is going to have a very central role, but meh. If he did take pens, then I would be worried he would get 8 or more and would get on myself.
£100 booked, good luck

Chamakh appears to be Palace's only out and out striker this year that is going to start and Holloway has been quoted as saying we are building the team around him, he will start every game if he remains injury-free.
Our team have been built around getting the most out of target men that are good in the air and with our flair wingers bombing in a lot of crosses,
he should clear 10 goals as our standout goalscorer
. I think his record for Arsenal is skewed mainly by the fact he never had a continued run in the team.
The overs on him for league goals is 7.5 and that is priced at 1/1 with bet365. I think this is a good bet.
surely you should take the 3's on him to be your Top Goalscorer with VC then?
this is a better bet than evens over 7.5 in my opinion
More bang for your buck, and not easy to see who beats him. Phillips could score more every time he comes off the bench at 40 years old I suppose

Firstly Chamakh....lol.......now I got that out of my system, got to agree with tighty, Top scorer at
if he is the target man has to be the bet.
Get the feeling that Phillips got his one year extension more as a courtesy etc, from his chats on Talksport, really cant see him playing much at all.

Ref Aaron bet.
Totally agree, massive spot, and meant to do but forgot
But the way Aaron dominated the last tipping comp(Ascot, I think), and spots like this he deserves a lot more credit for his recomends

As i said yesterday, I completely missed the post at the time
I am sure tikay would say, if a post does not get discussed, or tikay misses it (ie there is no post with him saying ON or "what do you all think?"), no harm the poster or anyone else bumping it
Don't be shy

Dwight Gayle is the unknown entity and I don't fancy betting against him. Chompy is your man to give you more insight into his chances of beating Chamakh. I am not sure where Holloway is playing him. I think he is going to play him in a 4-4-2.
Not worried about any other player in our team top scoring aside from Chamakh or Gayle. Our penno taker will probably be Chamakh as it was Murray last season, we use them to give our top goalscorer confidence. We had a better penno taker in Garvan on the pitch with Murray and Murray would still get the nod despite missing twice. And we get a lot of penalties btw. It was the same situation with Andy Johnson when he was last with us, he would get the pens, despite being pretty poor at them. Before Murray our penno taker was Darren Ambrose and he was our top goalscorer, Clinton Morrison too and before that Andy Johnson
Only way i see Chamakh not getting penalties is if he doesn't fancy them. Actually that is a great point about pennos. Would be 75% sure that he would be our man. Doubt Gayle would get the nod for these.

Phillips will be used sparingly, as a last 20 mins sort of player. Bolasie and Thomas are out for at least 2 weeks each btw, an aggressive Tuesday training session. Redic.

Morpheus has done a win.
And so did Angel Way. Hope people punished Ladbrokes.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots

Ah, what was the prices with Ladbrokes?
I've just had both on BetVictor and got 11-8 & 9-4, I don't have any money on Ladbrokes
