Tighty, also the Vuelta is starting today. We have Amets Txurruka in the KOM. Pretty sure Tikay got on with Betty, but can't see it on the spreadsheet.

edit Grosjean 22-1

Seen worse free bet prices. Was very quick at Hungary, and the Lotus might one stop.

Obviously there is a "F1 car as dodgems" risk, but Wm Hill are best price

F1 cars as dodgems + grosjean =

Thinking aloud 101...

Extra pit time this weekend because of the new regulations, which cut the speed the cars can travel at while pitting.

Does this make larger stop strategies less favourable? This seems to suit the tyre managers, then.

Yes, in theory

No objections to Webber if you need to use a free bet Doobs

Personally, not using any "not free money" bets on the race given the uncertainties. Safety car apart.

Whilst you are around Tikay, put a free bet on Opinion in the Ebor.  He has proven form on soft.

Hills go 6/1.

Done.

6/1, Wm Hill, BOG, Free Bet if 2nd.

FREE BET REDEEMED.

Vuelta....starts Saturday.

King of the Mountains. The KOM is generally won in the Vuelta by a rider from a lesser team not competing for the General Classification.

Rules are a bit complicated, but info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountains_classification_in_the_Vuelta_a_Espa%C3%B1a#Rules

This year the race will have 13 mountain stages, arguably tougher than the Tour & Giro. So I've looked for a rider in form, with a history of competing for the KOM, in a lesser team, Spanish, & not having ridden in the recent Tour.

Amets Txurruka (try pronouncing that!), the Caja Rural rider is having the best season of his life having won the mountains jersey at recent Vuelta a Burgos. This year has also seen him prominent in the mountains points completion at Norway & another win at Vuelta Ciclista al Pais Vasco. The Pro Continental team will have this as a prime objective for the race. He has ridden the Vuelta five times all solid performances.

http://www.oddschecker.com/cycling/vuelta-a-espana/king-of-the-mountains

Recommend £10.00. I've taken 13/2 on 365, but just noticed 7/1 available on Betfair.

Nice work Tonji, love these Cycling ones, we get a lot of mileage, pardon the pun. Think we had a bet on this last year, too?

We went with Betty.

£10 @ 8 (7/1), Betfair, Vuelta de Espana, King of the Mountains, Amets Txurruka.

Bugger.  Thought they were all with Hills.

Edit 11/1 has gone anyway.

Still do it?

Lunchtime kickoff is Fulham v Havearsenalspentanymoneyyet.com

Dimitar Berbatov scored first nine times last season; more than anyone else.

He's 9/1 with Paddy P and Billy Hilly. Some go as stingy as 13/2 6/1.

Each way love for a tenner?

Sunderland next home games

Man United
Chelsea
Arsenal
Newcastle
City
Liverpool
Spurs

Definitely possible they could lose all of the above, Id say average points would be 4. Away from home is always hard in the premiership and if they are bottom of the league after 15 games the fans will likely turn on Di Canio. He can blow at any moment and with a new chairman that brought in 13 new players so far he could easily shit himself and make a panic decision.

He is 8-1 so perhaps not value, but I feel like he is certain to fall to at least 4-1 or perhaps better so would be an excellant spot to punt big now with the intention of laying in the future?

What do people think?
