Great report as always Tighty. No mention of Burton this week though?
By the way, Ozil was unfortunately not tipped by anyone for the assists market. Someone did mention last week (I did, but I think someone else said he was a shoe-in before my post too) that he was going to win it. Unfortunately the assist market seemed to be taken down by all bookies when the season started so we could never get on him. Don't get why they did this - what is the difference between this and the top goalscorer market, which is still live?
Agree as to the Assists Market, but to be fair, it must be woefully thin.
The problem here is a real game-changer (Ozil) arrived late, after the Market closed, so it left us a bit exposed. Such is betting, & the glorious uncertainty.
I watched MR O yesterday for the first time, & I must say, he really does look the business, & a thoroughly likeable sort, too, though I do confess a weakness for folks who smile readily. Seems to have good taste in music, too, how can we not like a bloke who wears a Run DMC shirt?
It's like that
might just be in my top 10 Music Vids ever ever ever.

IIRC, Jason Nevins - the man whose remix you made the song so commercially successful - claims he never saw a penny of the money from that song.
Trivia for you:

Anyway, I thought you said on that NFL show you preferred the work of Fur Q?

Do much break-dancing Tony?
Arsenal looked understandably very leggy in the second half yesterday which is hardly surprising given how thin the squad has become due to injuries. A few such as Arteta, Monreal and Vermaelen have come back in thankfully.
We will have to rest a lot of players on Wednesday at West Brom and 11/4 or thereabouts looks generous to me as we will be playing a side comprised mostly of reserves with a decent smattering of returning experience not forgetting TGSTEL.
Recommend a small wager at 5/2+.

Break dancing? Me? All the time, obv. Not so much recently, as I've taken up something called
kettlecise
. google is your friend, as the saying goes.
Thats an interesting spot (WBA to beat Arsenal in the Leaque Cup), & we can get 14/5 in a few spots....seems really quite large, all things considered, almost 3/1 at home.
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-cup/west-brom-v-arsenal/winner
My gut reaction is that the Arsenal are on a long unbeaten run, & I'm sure they will be keen & revved up to continue that. Does it not depend to a large degree upon what sort of Team Mr W decides upon? Presumably, that price suggests, as you note, a very much Second X1?
TGSTEL? - you'll have to help me there, brain not working today.
Definitely interested in these potential value spots.

While its quiet. A question.
When a player goes on loan, who pays what? Does the new club pay his wages, or his old club? Are they the same wages he agreed with his old club?

Thread has an ante-post position on Radiator in the 1000 Guineas after this.
The Chompster was a bit negative at the time as the Lingfield maiden was a bad race (FWIW I think he blamed the draw bias, but not sure she was favoured from that stall"). The second in that race, Zawiyah, came out at the weekend and finished much closer (2.5 lengths) to the leader in a good race at Newmarket.
She is entered in the Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket on Friday (reserve obv £25 for thread with Hills mobile) and not the Fillies Mile, so guess that will be the last race this year.
Hoping for a big run on Friday, I have had a bit of a top up this morning (PP limited me to £10, Betfred to £8! I think Hills should lay more, but I already have 2 free bets on her there and didn't want to push it).
Anyone got a view on whether thread should top up? The thread position is one £25 free bet.

It is part of the loan agreement. I have seen some loans where the old club agrees to pay part of the wages. I don't think many players agree to take pay cuts, though don't think that is unheard of either.

Mido was at the back of my mind here. I think he took a pay cut just so he could play for West Ham when on loan.

Sullivan said "He doesn't want to be known as a 'has been' of English football, so he was willing to come here to play for a nominal fee, just £1,000 a week."

Obv works like this - manager just fills in the drop downs and emails it over for acceptance.

spurs played Thursday, Sunday and now Tuesday in a competition that is way down the list of priorities for them. Villa, have the cups and that is it.
villa at home, 5/2with most seems like a reasonable bet?
5/2, at home, & Spurs (away) have to play their third game in 6 days in a "not very interesting" Cup?
I'm not a football expert, but to me, that looks a must bet.
I'll need some advice from the grown-ups, but I've had a little bet for myself on the strength of your suggestion.
Views anyone?
The bookies have the same info as we do, perhaps I'm missing something here?
This looks a bet to me. You can get 13/5 with BetFred which is a bit better.
Here to learn...
But, what's the difference in this bet and the numerous others similar to this where bookies have all of the information that we are using as positives to bet ?
There does seem to be some relevance put onto who is posting the bet itt, imo.

Mido won the Belgian Ebony Shoe in 2001
No idea why, but as an award, the lack of prestige in the way that sounds amuses me.
Kompany, Lukaku and Daniel Amokachi have also won it.
