ok great, thanks for explaining that guys

£20 ew at 20-1, cost £40

It wins you win £20 x 20 plus £20 x 5 (1/4 of 20-1)plus £40 stake back is £540 (£500 profit)

He finished 2,3,4 you lose £20 on the win part, you win £20 x 5 on the ew part =£100 plus 20 stake back = £100 (£80 profit)

He finishes 5th or lower, you lose £40

Pleno, please get your superbrain over to the correct side and focus on the Strictly market. You won't become an Elder (the equivalent of SNE on Fred) wasting time with that Britain's Not Got The X Factor On Ice But We Will Kill It To Death Anyway guff.

Yours lovingly

Only six runners in the next Doobsy, so they'll all stick to the inner.

Boughtforasong looks good for the maiden though. Surely Tiiiiighe will come near side? Won't he? Surely? Innit?

First two in the betting drawn 1 and 2, so this looks the ideal spot, with the next up being in 10. As long as that there jockey comes wide of course.

Did your book on Draw Bias get the same treatment as Norfolks other famous son, Alan Partridge's Autobiography?! Wink

A bit quick on the draw for placing that Suarez bet. On the face of it, it looks good but this is Luis Suarez. There are reasons his price is so 'big'.

Firstly, TL900 brought up a good point. Will he move in January? Very, very possibly. Obviously he wanted to move in this window but it just never happened. They weren't selling to a rival in Arsenal and Real Madrid had all their eggs in the Bale basket.
Stan James are going 1/3 he'll be at Pool after the Jan window. I'd love to be on 3/1 that he isn't!
The special circumstance that makes it even more likely he moves is that Pool aren't in Europe so he won't be Champs League cup tied.
Any number of teams that fancies its chances of Champs League glory might make a move for him in January. Arsenal won't be a rival anymore as Pool will be battling with Swansea and Fulham for mid table supremacy and Real might be opening their cheque book again. PSG, Bayern and a few others might fancy him.

Secondly, we're making the assumption that he'll play up front as a pair with Sturridge. That's a big assumption. There is a widely known school of thought that he's going to be used wide with Sturridge through the middle and Coutinho in the hole.

Thirdly, 'only' 4 behind? To be 4 (3 in the case of RVP + Aguero) goals behind nearly all your main rivals after just 5 games is as bad a result as you could imagine, particularly for your place bet.

Fourthly, he's mental. Just mental. He's probably burying a body in a forest as we speak. He'll get banned for something despicable.

20/1 though. Is it big enough? Maybe. He's also 1 behind Darren Bent, where I predict he'll stay Smiley

Norfolk is in the fens sir.

X Factor...no bet. Was interested in Dubai-alike Paul Akister but not as sure as I was.

Completely agree with Pleno re: Abi Alton. Very annoying voice and the worst favourite in the history of the show.

5.30 at Leicester is an interesting enough event

importantly 16 runners still stand it is a race with varying degrees of jockey experience

a fair few have little or no experience some are not very good (so far) and others have done really well

i have backed

RED PALADIN at 6/1
BOLD RING at 28/1
QUADRIGA at 33/1 Biggest bet for me

all eway

have not put it up earlier as really need the 16 runners to make it worth betting in i think

What are people thoughts on next Sunderland manager?

After the circus that has been DiCanio, they will surely look to sail with a calmer pilot.

I have had a complete banzai on David O'Leary, a man i have seen on tv and heard on radio recently, saying he is ready to come back and the cv is ready to do the rounds. Probably un-thought of by the usual players but at 200s was happy to partake of a few bob until I get a decent recommend.

Cant wait to see the Rolfcopter

All fair comment, and my read is that is exactly why he is 20/1, and not less than half that.

Any love for Ramsey to be first scorer

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/league-cup/west-brom-v-arsenal/first-goalscorer

14-1 with 888 or 5-1 for anytime.

7 goals in all comps so far this season, read somewhere that was from 8 shots on target. Not a massive market but betfair are 9.2.

If elders agree I recommend £10 first and £20 anytime.

Almost no chance that he plays any part let alone starts imo.

Out of interest, has Aaron Ramsey stopped killing celebrities with his goals?

I find myself bewhoooshed which is not that uncommon an occurrence.
