Birmingham v Blackpool
Birmingham are the Championship team that gain the least number of corners per game, over the last season and a half (4.2/game, championship average is 5.5/game). Their home games have gone under 11 corners, 8 of the last 11.
Blackpool have the third least corners gained in the championship over the last 18 months (4.9/game). Their away games have gone under 11 corners, 9 of the last 12.
I priced under 11 corners for this game at just over 1.6. Bet365 go 5/6.
Recommend £30 @ 5/6 Under 11 corners, Birmingham v Blackpool, Bet365.

So the Eclipse final didn't work out as I'd planned, hasn't deterred me....
Romford 8:18: T6 Steves Dream
Ladbrokes offering 10/1 for a greyhound who is generally
, with Betfred 4/1. Suggest £10.
Price seems very generous, especially given he is 20/1 to win the whole competition (Essex Vase) in a place or two. Has always had excellent EP over 575m at Romford and looks really likely to lead this race if continuing his recent performances, plus he is in the best form of his career with 35:62s and 35:74s on his record last twice out here.
Hather George is the favourite but I fancy that some of his early space will be taken by the selection being that they are drawn next door to each other. They may be coming back at him at the end but hopefully he has built up a big enough lead to hold on.
Obviously I've delivered a couple of greyhound losers for TfT in recent times so understand if you'd want to have a look at the race yourself or get a second opinion. If anything the price is way ool.

Got it, thanks Scott, & I appreciate the early notice, it's a lot easier for me than minutes before the race.
Don't be fretting about "a couple of losers", we are playing the long game here, & I thought it was quite a thing to tip TWO finalists in the Eclipse. As it turned out, we knew our fate immediately the traps opened, but that was in the price.
Anyway, we got the 10/1, to a tenner.

In terms of what to expect. I think it will be close. Australia are an improving team particularly in seam bowling. The pitches will definitely not be prepared to start dry and turn early, as the English pitches were. Absolutley no point giving Swann a sniff, so neutralise him and go fast and pacy in terms of pitch preparation and take your chances
A reminder, two William Hill free bets have to be used. One by tomorrow and one by Sunday

Ahh, our Corners Expert returns, & only a day after his suggestion that Leeds will crush 'Boro tomorrow. Think your last Corners bet for us won nicely?
I expected a major rebuff from Bet365 on this, a presumably thin market, but in fact my allowance was £60, so we got the £30 on.
Thanks Neil, & good luck. Hope you did not watch Rob Yong on last night's Show, I think he referred to you as a
gentleman of some portlitude.
Outrageous suggestion, even if true.

CONFIRMED, to avoid the confusion last week, we DO have 2 x £25 FREE BETS on file from Wm Hill.
Not a great deal going off at the mo, but tomorrow's Betfair Chase might be a possible outlet.

I have looked already, they are short Dynaste, Tidal Bay and Cue Card. The top 2 are too short. Seems a leap of faith to back Long Run in this. But at 12/1, maybe it isn't so bad? He can win this on best form, and this is easier than the Gold Cup. He did seem to have Bobs Worth beaten until the latter's stamina came in up the hill. His last run was terrible too. Tidal Bay has a career strewn with bad races and we keep giving him chances. Long Run has probably run 2 bad races in his lifetime.
Should he win this? Probably not on current form. Does he win once in 13? Maybe. I am going for it with one of my freebies.

Guess that reps the all-too elusive "value" criteria, & I'll get on shortly. Thanks. No huge optimism, but 12/1 has to be value.
Some meat on the Long Run views here.....

very very harsh on Tidal Bay
especially since he has been with a trainer
39 races 15 wins 12 seconds 3 thirds nearly all in graded company
I would love to have a toe nail of an animal that strewn with bad races

Just a comparison with some of the criticism Long Run gets. Tidal Bay certainly looked a squiggle horse at times. Obviously the trainer has made a difference, but even now he doesn't look that easy a ride.
Inevitable he finishes 30 lengths in front of Long Run now. In fact that probably happens at least as often as Long Run wins.

Tidal Bay has had a squiggle for most of his career
I do not disagree he is a character (not as much now he is actually trained correctly) but his profile is one of the most consistent in racing

Tidal Bay deserves his squiggle, but he's a high-class squiggle.
Most racehorses are woofers tbf, centuries of in-breeding. They're all a bit fenlike, just some are squigglier than others.

Poker players are the same.
Note the striking similarity here.
