Romo was fantastic on that last drive wasn't he, the catch that Bryant made falling backwards was superb too. Witten  must wish he could play The GIants every week as he has a brill recent record against them. was just a pity he did the damage in TD's and not yards which left him blocking when they were playing with the lead.

Lol at Wincey Willis, there is a part of my anatomy that feels like that after what amounted to sitting in a freezing wind all afternoon. Washington  2morrow night looks like being even colder too, might need a thermal Onesie to keep warm there.

For those that missed the heavy hints/chirps, Phil is over in the USA on a "NFL Holiday", taking in 3 or 4 matches, & getting himself a suntan into the bargain.

How does the very sad news about Trott - who we'd all wish a speedy recovery - affect the England Team, & situation?

Daily Report

Profit on Month £185.01

Outstanding Bets £2959.51

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=32

A loss of £90 yesterday

- The Oakland Raiders went down to the Titans. In a close game the Titans scored a touchdown in the last 30 seconds and made Oakland pay for two missed and makeable field goals earlier

- Hannah Barrett was evicted from X-Factor

- Corey Jane did not score for the All Blacks, in one of the best Rugby games of this or any other season in Dublin

Looking at Long term positions

- Aguero's brace for Man City against the team formerly known as Tottenham took him to 10 for the Premier League season and one ahead of Suarez and Sturridge. Currently Suarez is 5/2 best, Aguero 7/2 which is interesting as there is only one of the pair who might leave in January

- There was a sighting of a lesser seen Navas assist in the same game. Not sure what the position currently is in that bet, assume he's a way behind Ozil?

- Cardiff got a point against Manchester United which was an unexpected bonus for the Cardiff +47 handicap bet and an unexpected drag on the Hull to finish top promoted team bet

In the NFL

- The Dolphins were ahead for a long way and then lost to the Panthers. With the Patriots winning a barnstormer overnight we can crowd round the bed of the Dolphins bet and wish it well as it disappears into the ether in the next week or two

- The Chiefs lost in the last minute to the Chargers. That was looking to be that, until the Patriots beat the Broncos. The Broncos and the Chiefs now have identical 9-2 records and next week the Chiefs host the Broncos. The 7/1 division bet comes down to that game. Yesterday the Chiefs lost 20 sack duo Justin Houston and Tamba Hali to injury and were immediately far less effective on defense and will be underdogs next week even at the intimidating Arrowhead stadium

- The Titans scored 23 points yesterday. They now have 250 in 11 games and need to score another 121 in 5 games to land a season points bet, or just over 24 a game from here. Very likely to come down to the last game

- The Eagles were on a bye and Dallas' win knocked them off top spot in the NFC East. The Eagles will need to win the division to make the play offs as its unlikely the East will send a wild card to the post season

- The Bengals were on a bye but both Pitssburgh and Baltimore won to close the gap in the NFC North. On Thursday/Thanksgiving the Steelers play the Ravens so by the time the Bengals play next one of the pair will be a game behind the Bengals in the division

- Quarterbacks

1   Peyton Manning, QB   DEN 3,722
2   Drew Brees, QB    NO   3,647
3   Matthew Stafford, QB   3,495

--------------
4   Philip Rivers, QB   SD   3,381
5   Matt Ryan, QB   ATL   3,160

We have three live sweats, with Brees catching Manning this week, Stafford doing his usual (plenty of yards, plenty of interceptions) and Ryan hanging in there on a bad team. Manning only threw for 150 yards last night in the cold windy wastes of New England. A shame he won't be back in bad weather in the next few weeks for our bet

Ashley more boring every time you see him and Natalie oh look she's crying again both made it safely through SCD. Natalie now clearly favourite at 7/4 and AshBore 8/15 top man. Well placed on both

Root up to three and one of the youngsters into 6

Could argue it both ways, he's a quality batsman averaging 50 over the long run but he was struggling and nowhere near that form

On balance compared to pre-series expectations its a blow. Compared to waht we saw at Brisbane, it probably isn't

There's got to be money for Oakland +9.5 at Dallas on Thanksgiving hasn't there?

Oakland are a top 5 rushing team, and Dallas couldn't stop Karabiner if he was the rb.

I think it'll be 7 or 6.5 by game time.

Dallas and Chicago are in the same boat when it comes to run stopping. Severe injuries in the defensive front seven that has left them playing street free agents against NFL quality OL and getting pushed off the ball week after week

SCD Update

Brilliant* Ben was knocked out which was good for our Ashley Top Man bet.  I really couldn't seem him winning, but he was 13/2 yesterday, so it must have shortened us a touch.  Ashley is now best priced 8/15.  There hasn't been any sign of a renewed Patrick charge this week.

I think this week must be good for Natalie bets too.  She is best priced 7/4 favourite again.  I have covered everything, but suspect she must be a lay in the last week for those that haven't.  This week's Digital Spy has her 3rd behind Sophie and Ashley, and she manages a 2nd in the unpopularity one.  I think she loses to Susanna, Sophie or Ashley if she faces any of them in the last 2.  Unfortunately I can't work out which of them gets there.

Doobs

* (c) Tal. I took an opposite view, but got limited to £17.50.  Sad  I am sure Tal must be right on the technique, but he just looked terrible to me.  We definitely view the program through different eyes.

I think you lost me about a month ago, and it feels like you have every angle covered. Far too complicated for a country boy like me.
Our bird defo the best dancer but unlikely to win, as you say. The Hollins factor looks sure to kick in and I am pleased to have covered the bet with a save on Suzanna. Can't see any other result.
As I said you lost me with the male winner bet a few weeks ago, but hope whichever bloke you have most on lasts longest, I just hope I never have to endure watching Tal perform the American smooth with his bearded mate, in the Centaur, ever again.

Gumball will lose in the final 3 to a more popular dancer, fairly certain of it. Probably Susannah Reid assuming she is competent from here on out

We do need to cover at some stage

she is the best dancer, hands down

but the final 3 is not - assuming good competency from all three- a technical dancing contest its a POPULARITY contest as the judges votes don't form part of the score...the winner is decided from 100% public votes

Chris Hollins is a shrew-like Breakfast TV presenter with all the pizzazz of a pigeon in a thunderstorm but he won because

a) He had a daily platform to push himself to likely voters (Mums up with kids early watching morning TV, people watching before work )
b) A likeable pro
c) A level of competency and improvement from a background of no dancing experience

Susannah Reid is exactly the same. Very popular, very pushy without anyone realising it and her Pro is a real find too

She is the cover.

What Tighty said. I'd further add that I think Susannah is better than Chris Hollins, although the competition is stronger this year than it was the year he won it.

cricket

England have drifted again in the series betting post Trott and can now be backed at 3/1 with Paddy Power.

Australia are 8/11 favourites at youwin with the draw offered at 9/2 (Coral, Ladbrokes, youwin).

England have also been pushed out in the second Test market and are now offered at 5/2 by Unibet and 888sport.

The top England runscorer market has been shaken up by the Trott news with Alastair Cook, who made a half century yesterday as his team-mates fell around him, now the general 3/1 favourite.

Kevin Pietersen is next at 4/1 with Ian Bell a 9/2 shot.

Gary Ballance or Jonny Bairstow could now come into the side - no replacement for Trott has yet been named. Both can be backed in the market at 10/1 if you shop around.

football

Andre Villas-Boas is just 8/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post following Spurs' 6-0 defeat at Manchester City yesterday.

He's also just 9/4 not to see out the season with William Hill.

I'm probably not alone in thinking this, but the Daily Reports are a delight, especially in the middle of hassly & stressy mornings elsewhere, & are always looked forward to with great anticipation.

Today's pricelss gems, just casually dropped in, or so it seems, included....

Really?  She doesn't look a great price to me right now.  She could have been bottom 2 this week?  The other 5 combined aren't far off her price.  She may be backable again at some point, but not sure it is right now.

She isn't the best dancer in the competition, but she is a solid allrounder who had a bad week with a dance on a technical issue that won't really be a problem going forward. Sophie has a few very good dances and then the rest are fair-to-middling. Ashley and Patrick have technical weaknesses that span half a dozen or more dances and will likely keep being mentioned by the judges. I think the biggest rival will be Abbey, although I personally think Susannah is more likely to win on the night, because she has a little more pizzazz (not a technical term, but you know what I mean).
