4/1 Leicester for the Championship.

E/w 1/4 1,2,3

Looks like a must bet to me.

What sort of money did you have in mind, Keith? Tiddlearse (copyright Evil Ena), just for Jeff & Chomps, or something more substantial, £10, even £12.50 maybe?

I'm all ears, barrels loaded, ready to fire.

I think 4/1 is bang on the right price for the title.

It's 5.0 - 5.1 on betfair which supports this notion.

No betting on a top 3 finish, but I feel it's somewhere in the 2/5 range

£50 each way looks like good business.

Or you could be REALLY dirty and have £100 each way and then lay the win part on the machine...

Cheering on any team managed by Nigel Pearson is going to tough though.

What price Burnley top 3?  Can get 8/1 on the win, which is Betfair and 2/1 the place.   Am I too greedy?

Thanks Keith.

Details in the morning.

Tighty will enjoy reporting on this one, the reports will shame the Ant/Palace & Plinop/Newcastle discourses.

I decided to stick with £50 EW, "dirty" is not nice, & I very often feel for those poor bookies, as I know you do, too.

It's definitely value, but I would rather be with Leicester at 4/5 to be top 3 than Burnley at 2/1.

They have been very lucky with injuries/suspensions so far and I feel their squad is very threadbare no matter how well their first XI is playing.

Although there's nothing in the rules which says you can't back both Wink

EDIT My brain is adled, Evens Leicester a place, not odds upon.

Prefer the idea of getting as much on as possible EW and then laying back most of the win part in these spots.

Maybe have £150 EW, then lay back £100 @ 5.1. That's the way I'd go anyhoo. Won't be playing, though, as Leicester were hot and cold last season, and another collapse wouldn't be the biggest surprise.

Have chucked a few quid at Brentford scoring 4+ @ 11-1, as we're gutless lately and could well collapse tonight.

I did think Eso would be proud of our Newcastle to finish slightly above mid table bet.

Remember yesterday when I said you were my favourite gooner?

Well...(keeping the movie theme from earlier this afternoon and slotting in the Fred brainteaser/trivia moment)...

Pwned by tikay. Was probably due.

The song title was the answer:

Yesterday, you were my favourite gooner, but tomorrow is another day.

Nice to have a bit of culture in the thread.
