Small bit of value in the newcastle game for Remy to score first @ 9/2 when played each way on PP, top price and it works out at 6/4 if my math is correct for the anytime goal when next best is 11/8. Beats betfair price and he has scored 8 in 10 appearances. the 9/2 i just abit less than betfair who are currently 5.7 for him to score first.
It's not massive value but i was looking for a bet whilst i watch it and maybe some others would like to have a go so thought i'd post.
Whilst typing this, before i posted it I looked again and betfred have pushed Remy out to top price of 11/2 and this game qualifies for their double delight hatrick heaven promotion, so if he does score first and then scores again or a hatrick the odds double or treble, so with that price beating betfair and the promotion thats a decent bet too.
They let me reinvest £10 on this, so good luck us!

Austrian game was a loser. Not altogether sure it was a great bet in retrospect so apologies for that but you do have to act fast on these sometimes.

One from the leftfield this morning. There is something of a match fixing scandal emerging in Austria involving Grodig and as a result they have released a couple of defenders and a few more may not play. Hard to see how their preparation won't have been affected and a quick look at the form and discussion with a few people that know the league suggest that the 6/5 Austria Vienna was probably not a bad price anyway. Not one to go mad on but 6/5 looks worth a 50 with Hills,
or the Nanny.
tikay can you confirm this please, month end numbers

Surprisingly, they allowed me £25.08, so we had £25 @ 5/4.
Thanks Adz.

Not today, he had agolden chance with an open header from no more than 6 hards out but didn't get enough on it. Shame as he was looking lively with some good movement up front.

This feels a bit swings and roundabouts, you lose a little on the win part and gain a little on the place part. 11/8 anytime doesn't feel like it is the greatest price either. 9/2 first is about equivalent to 6/4 anytime?

Purely speculative on my part, but the name has been circulating for a few weeks due to the Chairman's previous links, but I recommend £10 (max allowed) on Mike Phelan at 33/1 as next Barnsley manager with Uncle Vic.
Treat it as a low risk punt that might pay off.
This was a great market last time around - 33/1 was available on Flitcroft two days before he was appointed.
Micky Mellon is in place as caretaker manager and also worth £10 at 16/1 currently.

Phelan was also a bit of a ledge at Norwich, really hope Hughton doesn't get the bullet there but wouldn't surprise me if he did, and it follows that Phelan would be front runner for that one. Wouldn't put anyone off following the Sheriff tho, he got it pretty right last time.

At least it might give the Barnsley bets a chance, with the right appointment. Early enough change to inspire hope, anyway.

You are right it wasnt huge value, if any at all, probably neutral. I thoguht it was an ok bet though considering he had scored 8 in 10 and is newcastles main goal threat. I take a lot from this thread and thought i'd post incase anyone who was watching it fancied a little bet.
The 11/2 with betfred was much better value on the price alone, without the added value of the promotion, so hopefully if anyone did follow anything they did that rather than the first option as I did. Actually i hope no one followed (i know marky did) as it lost.

Ian Poulter is **** with
and Done, they are offering 4 places 1/4. He finished '2nd last year and didn't win a tournament (Stenson won it and Rose was 3rd both having won big Tournaments)
Not all firms have markets up and there is nothing on betfair.
I have left out the price just so you can judge what would be the price u guys think would be value for a season long bet on Poulter before u click to see what's on offer, I was quite pleased with it so I've invested.
If others agree I'll put it up as a recommend for Fred.
